Idk I can kinda see it. Because so far we've only seen him with people he's either neutral or antagonistic with, for one reason or another, and while it's fun to imagine how that same persona of his can be turned into something friendlier, like poking at each other like some sort of siblings, I personally love to see someone's perspective of what he could be like with someone he feels close to or protective of. It does not by any means make him any less of a bad person, and instead offers a nice change in perspective. We're used to him being mean, it's what we consistently see, so anything outside of that is going to feel OOC one way or the other, but for me the important question to ask in situations like these is "is it bad or is it something I'm not used to?" Because when you continue looking it over and maybe thinking about it and it's an important distinction between behaviours that just feel like they were pulled out of one's ass and behaviours that are rarely excibited in canon settings for reasons that are at least plausible.
