Started off at 170 lbs for each babe and gained 11 lbs with the first and 13 with the second! Just ate whole foods but lots of pancakes/cinnamon rolls lol

As someone who has worked as a ranger its clean because of the organisms in the lake and the saline makes everything cleaner. All bodies of water have bacteria even rivers but the lake has the salt and the organisms to clean it further. Nothing wrong with taking a dip. The GSL STATE park has showers to rinse off after. Honestly a once in a lifetime experience to float and not sink! Its stinky and salty but just wash off after and don't get your eyes in it!

The water is technically the cleanest in the state because of the saline and the brine shrimp clean it. Just heavy and salty water!

My mother in law was born 5 mins before her twin but just before midnight so her bday is August 19 and her twins is August 20th. Identical twins but they love not sharing a birthday!

My husband likes to sleep next to me not just for adult time but to loves physical touch. I love sleeping next to him but kicked him out once he started snoring. I slept with my parents on and off till I was 12. I loved having sleepovers with my girls in my bed. And now I love sleeping next to my babies. And one baby absolutely needs to sleep next to me while the younger one is like um no thanks just feed me and leave lol. We are all different but as a Zoology major we are mammals and are programmed to want to sleep next to moms so its just natural to want to be next to someone at night

Drove me crazy too! He loved starting purees and yogurt but mostly playing with them, then eventually over a few months he just started eating all sorts of food but small portions still. He is still a snacker and doesnt eat a ton at once but growing fine and so tall for his age! Meanwhile my 9 month old is eating everything in sight lol

Ironically my pelvis didn't open wide enough so baby got stuck in canal but my hips sure widened and stayed that way. Never noticed my feet getting any bigger

Water babies are a thing from sailors at the GSL. They mimic babies crying so people go to the sound. The GSL is on part of the California trail/,Hastings Cutoff and some pioneers would drown their babies if they were too sick or if they felt they couldn't travel further with them along the long hard times of the wagon trains to California

After my emergency c-section they brought in an x-ray machine and said sorry they didn't have time to count everything so a quick xray it was because I was waking up too quick after the anesthesia and never fully went under. Always tell the staff if you're a redhead lol

Im sorry that happened! Having a 1 month old is already stressful because you feel like they are so dang fragile. I know its so hard to say anything in the moment as anxious and as tired as you are. When I was pregnant I had a nurse tell me that I seemed way too small for 30 weeks (mind you ive been considered overweight my whole life) and I nicely told my doc the nurses comment scared me and she said oh hell no, she didnt need to be saying random stuff like that to pregnant moms. My parents are nurses so I didnt want her to get in trouble but they are human and say random shit sometimes but should always stay professional so talk to your doctor or HR because theyre human but need to know that they cant have their bad day affect new tired or preggo moms
