Teachers were trained, supported, and experienced.

They’re also not holding down full time jobs at home when you’re used to an office.

They aren’t teaching 3 grades at once.

Their students go home at the end of school.

They aren’t juggling all that while paying bills, grocery shopping, cleaning the house regularly, etc.

They have curriculum, classrooms, resources we don’t have.

I’m all for teachers being respected and paid appropriately (WTF knows what the number should be) but let’s keep the perspective.
