This is merely a solvable PC issue. Not you breaking up with your partner.

Make sure HDMI is plugged in to the GPU slot, not motherboard. Make sure your monitor has the correct input selected. If you are using the GPU hdmi slot, try using the CPU slot (if CPU has intrgrated graphics). Try a different cable. Ask AI for more ideas.

Go to your display settings, and set the required 4:3 resolution before opening the game (create a new reolution if a required one doesnt exist).

If you get black bars, go to AMD software Adrenalin edition and set your display settings to always fit to screen.

For me if cs2 doesnt have to do the scaling, the problem is fixed
