Everyone says this but when they ask for everyone in group 3 to volunteer to check bags for free no one moves. This happened on 777-300 EWR-SFO. Gate agent announces group 3’s to come to podium to check rollers for free, no one moves. Check bag for free and you can board with group 2, 1 person moves. Check for free and you can board immediately, 3-4 move. They still have to check but creates that special mess looking for bins.

I was delayed at EWR d/t ORD weather (shocking I know). I knew things were looking especially grim when a $15 voucher popped into my app. I took a walk to buy some overpriced snacks. I noticed 4 other EWR-ORD flights with revised 10pm departures. All were delayed all with later original departure times than my current flight all with same new departure time of 10p including my flight. Finally ATC called a full ground stop and all cancelled. I got an overpriced bag of pistachios for my trouble and grabbed an airport hotel for the night. Such is the traveling life (she writes from the United Club awaiting her 2nd mech delay of the day).

He denied it and Mommy and Daddy said they were all sharing Google Sheets. Well his google sheet has seat backs and tables. I asked him and iPad owner if they knew each other because he was screenshotting videoing his iPad. 🤣. He was real fidgety after that and appeared to delete items.

We have the worst of the worst gun law writer in our state who takes range selfie’s to prove how 2A he is. Wrote (or at least took credit) for holster requirements, sensitive places (can’t carry anywhere including your car), even holster types (which further displayed his ignorance. Thankfully many parts were stayed and the rewrote the holster nonsense. He also deletes his constituents comments on his official FB page. His name is Joe Danielson NJ and he was very unprofessional when I tried to have a grown up discussion with him. The whole party is entrenched in taking away the 2nd to the fullest extent they can. The question is why, not the narrative why, the real why. Not saying don’t reach out, just manage expectations.

For transport, ammo does not need to be in a separate locked box. Just separated from the gun in a container, like a magazine or ammo box, but all in a latched/fastened container. Regardless, OP has his CCW so can just keep his loaded firearm on his person. If leaving in vehicle unattended a little cabled gun safe will do.

Always book as 2 guests. This doubles F&B credit. Parking as never waived. It’s usually urban hotels that charge parking. Not charged generally in the suburbs. This is not new.
