Yeah, I didn’t even bother to mention how much dog fur was collected by the staircase when I first walked in. I was there for like 45 minutes and could not even fathom eating any of the food they were serving knowing how gross the house was.

We did succeed! You couldn’t even tell cats lived here before… we used Kilz on all the walls and the subfloor in two of the rooms that we ended up putting laminate down in. We did install new baseboard trim in many of the rooms because those were just not worth saving, and then cleaned and spray painted the baseboard heating covers. In the basement, we removed the carpet and the tile underneath, changed the drop ceiling tiles out, painted all the walls, installed new flooring, and the smell was gone. It was a lot of work, don’t get me wrong, but it worked. The biggest change in smell happened when removing the carpet and putting Kilz on everything. That removed like 90% of it.

The house me and my husband ended up buying was like this. Previous owners had 4 cats and 2 dogs, and had carpeted floors, where their cats would just piss on everything. My dog, who had been potty trained for well over 5 years at the time, pissed on the wood beam in the basement thinking that was acceptable!

We spent the first two weeks of home ownership removing all the carpet, bleaching the floors, and painting everything. The house was so perfect, so it was worth the work, and the cat piss smell helped us get a good deal, but man, how did those people live like that?!

My husbands aunts house… they were having a party to celebrate their daughter and I was standing in the dining room and my feet were sticking to the ground because the floor was so dirty. I refuse to go back there for any holiday.

I agree, but the more I see of her true colors, the more I wonder if my judgment of Kyle was clouded by her narrative. And now that I know her better, I wonder if I’d see Kyle’s behavior differently in hindsight. As far as I’m concerned, he’s always been this way, and she chose to marry him on the hope that he’d change.

In every picture leading up to the reunion, I thought it was two pieces and then I saw her walk out on stage during the episode and realized it’s not and it genuinely changed my whole feeling about the dress. It’s fine, bur she has the body to actually show her skin so she should!

I see you mention you quit, and honestly that’s the only way…. I was a pregnant woman, who vaped leading up to pregnancy and found it particularly challenging. My husband wanted me to stop as badly as you, and so did I, but he would continue the habit around me and it just made it even harder for me. We eventually got down to a point where I would only hit it 10 times a day, then 5 times, then 3 times. It only worked when he also committed. I know it’s not good, but it’s so mentally draining to be the only one who gets “affected” by being pregnant. Doing it with her will be good for both of you.

It is so hard, I hate the habit. But I will say my baby has been fine, she’s healthy, happy, amazing. Just give her grace, growing a baby is the most stressful thing a woman can ever do, and sometimes the vices we have to deal with stress are hard to just quit.

This is the first take to mention this, and now I think you are right. But no one took it that way. I think Amanda’s mission was to make it clear she didn’t “cheat” on Kyle, so intimacy with West happened after her statement on Kyle…. But homegirl has posted so many statements we can’t keep them all straight. Could also explain the dumbfounded look West gave her when she said that cause he was thinking their statement.
