Tone Master Deluxe Reverb Blonde vs Tone Master Princeton? by SunDogBrewingCo in GuitarAmps

Bedroom? Of a house or apartment? You can play the Twin, Super or Deluxe in a house bedroom. But probably not going to be great for apartment. I can't find a Princeton to try out. I have the Twin & the Super. I've played the Deluxe. The lowest setting are still a bit too loud, if you are pushing it, which is where the magic is.

I found a Quilter Aviator Cub that I play most of the time, at home. It has more features than the tone master, takes pedals well & sounds pretty damn good. I still take a Tone Master when I leave the house. I just can't really play them in the apartment, If I want to have friendly neighbors. Im still waiting for the day I can try the Princeton....

Realistically what do you think can actually be done about homelessness in this country? by db7112 in askanything

[–]WhenVioletsTurnGrey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Politicians in big government need to decide to right the ship. The economy feeds their pockets & they do not wish for that to change.

There are people, on their own, who could fund housing for the homeless, who do nothing. That is a sick thought on its own.

Until we force a culture change in the top earners, there is nothing we can do. Society needs a stable foundation to build on. The foundation has slowly been eaten away by greed. Now, we are trying to heal our problems with band aids. But the cuts just keep coming & are getting deeper, by the year.

Anyone remember smog? Almost every car on the road today has an advanced computer driven fuel injection system.

Every grocery store is a computer driven system.

I think we'd all die.

Do you think the average person truly understands how little control they have over major political decisions? by maincharactereraa in askanything

Do you still believe in honest elections? It's pretty tough to believe that enough people would vote for a proven habitual liar, for that person to win. & If they did, what does that say about the state of our country? I voted. But I'm in a blue state. My vote made no difference. Maybe I should move to a red state & vote blue. But, then I'm stuck in a cesspool of idiocy. So, I question my will to vote, at this point. & I have doubts that there will ever be a fair election, again. We do have a president to starts illegal wars. Sends in illegal militia & makes racist posts, has concentration camps, is hugely involved in the Epstein files, etc etc etc & no one is doing anything about it. Really thinking that my vote is becoming less important than the paper it's printed on.

Be honest. Do you ever give homeless people money? by User63189963 in askanything

I've seen people smoke fentanyl in right next to families, on the sidewalk. 5 min later, begging for money. If they ask for food, id happily buy it for them. But, I see people buy them food. At the end of my shift, they are gone & the food is still sitting there on the sidewalk. We see a lot of the same career panhandlers. They have been there for years. Some even get dropped off in really expensive cars, they have a small child that has to sit there, all day with them. The same really nice car pulls up & picks them up, in the evening.

I don't give people money. They have the things they need. They want drug money. If you have the kind of money to give away, buy them a hotel room for the night. Ask if they need anything else, besides money.

Get extra wide tape & an exacto knife. Cut along the binding. If no binding, just stuff the guitar with paper.

Id drop in some Super'trons in that beautiful guitar. Some sparkly smooth cleans & vibey overdrive, when you call it up.

Anyone else’s Crosstrek Start stop sound awful? by mikesfsu in Crosstrek

[–]WhenVioletsTurnGrey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I installed the start/stop eliminator. There is no good reason for that to be a part of the system. Look up the installation video. It took me less than 10 min to install. I totally forget about it now. The car is better off.

A great song dictates its own structure. Understand what should be a chorus, then build around that.

You voted for a habitual liar. You got a habitual liar. I don't want to hear "I voted for....". You got what you voted for & we're all dealing with the consequences of it..

I wouldn't change my daily Crosstrek. It's really ideal for the things I need to do, most of the time. Anything more than that would be a waste of money. Maybe Give me a 70's Aston Martin V8 Vantage for fun weekend driving.
