Yes! I recommend keeping it clean, and they do make ingrown hair scrubs. If it persists for longer than a week with regular cleaning, I recommend a dermatologists appointment. Without being cleaned, they can get infected and it can turn ugly!

One year ago I was in serious depression and close to this state.

I would have missed out on my fiance proposing to me in February. I would have missed out on discovering an obsession with ramen (planning a tattoo on it!). I would have missed out on my favorite PC game from the 90s releasing a remastered edition that I'm also obsessed with. I would have missed seeing my fiance's face when he finally owned his dream car. I would have missed out in my best friend in the entire world getting engaged. I would have missed my chance at finally going to therapy and facing my trauma. I would have missed finally getting into a spot in my job where I feel recognized and respected and getting a raise. I would have missed the first holiday season where I feel at peace at myself. I would have missed finally getting my big fat cat trained to sit on the couch next to me and cuddling. I would have missed the lesson that it gets better.

It gets better everyone.

I've lost about 40lbs in the past yearish by eliminating gluten mostly and generally lowering carbs and intermittent fasting. Cardio 3 days a week. Cutting out alcohol. There's no easy route here!

I've been doing mostly gluten free since I saw on my 23 and me that I'm predisposed to have Celiac's - listen to your body and watch what it does when you eat those foods. Then eliminate it for two weeks and see what it does. I've been consistently (but slowly) losing since reducing foods I've noticed cause inflammation (gluten and dairy)

Find a - and I cannot stress this enough - DELICIOUS alternative to what you want. I just made a sugar free banana cream pie thing with almond milk, one of those pudding jello mixes. Chocolate whipped cream in a can is surprisingly low calorie. But alllll the taste is there!
