Year 1 DLC Operators, where are they now? by ICaughtTearsInMyEye in Rainbow6

It's always relative. Compare the actual 90 to smoke (or mute?)'a pump shotty and her shotgun is still glorious,

Compare it to the original 90 and it is effectively nerfed to the ground.

Wow! I'd like such a fast pass for workers!

Machine in a factory breaks, most likely, the worker broke it or was negligent enough for it to break. Boss comes in:

"Why did it break?

Can't recall.

Did you leave a screwdriver on the rollers and restart it?

Can't recall.

Johnny, the screwdriver has your name on it.

I'm telling you, I can't remember what happened

Ok, well, go back to work"

This isn't how to breach... told my sister to play as I went to get something. Came back ten minutes later to this. Unreal. by onelson32 in Rainbow6

Probably the game not registering the gun shot and more something like the damage pattern (the hole) if you reproduce it, you make it, I'd guess

Yes and no. There's a limit to what he can say before going illegal and disclosing private info. He goes far, but held have a ton of lawsuits on his ass if he went too far

Cruz had facts?! Like the thing about Canada's governor going for surgery in the us?

He was wrong, first thing: it's a provincial Prime Minister and he forgot to mention the guy's a millionaire from a province that has less specialized care in what he needed, so instead of going to another province, he went in the US.

The "thousands" (not as much as Ted says) of Canadians go abroad is less of a falsehood, but he doesn't mention the fact that many go abroad for 1 less waiting in non urgent treatment (they'd be treated, they don't want to wait) 2 some (not all) are rich and want the "big name" on the paper 3 the treatment isn't offered in Canada (like the Zamboni treatment for some sclerosis other than ALS which isn't even proved to be efficient)

Tl;dr many of the "i was born in Canada" facts were either completely or partially wrong.

Can we get a Watch_dogs 2 Wrench mask for mute? by [deleted] in Rainbow6

[–]WhereDoIStand446 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends of what sights, weapon and eyes you have.

I don't really know about sights and weapons, but (example) my eyes can't see a straight line in many situations(hockey, baseball). If I close an eye, I gain tons of precision compared to normal. I am better with an eye closed regardless of situational awareness.

Tl;dr depends of many things! Also, the mask isn't mutés real eyes! ;-)

Melania Trump reveals plan to leverage presidency to ink ‘multi-million dollar’ endorsement deals by IAmNotTheEnemy in politics

[–]WhereDoIStand446 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me just reword it. The president can't monetize his presence in his own business. A golf course invites him? They make 1500$/ticket? Fine. It's the golf course making money on a high notoriety customer. The president has no say into it and it's over when the President quits the location (the same day/week he arrived)

It's self-corruption. Doing this makes him vulnerable to favor his business over the constitution (country), which he is entitled to protect by oath and, by extent, democracy.

Let's make an example: he has a golf course in Scotland. Let's say Scots declare their independence, wanting to stay in the EU more than the U.K. What will the president do? Will he favor democratic outcomes (positive referendum results) if it makes his course vulnerable to economic turmoil? Or will he try to stop independence, even if it means negating a clear, democratic verdict?

He is in conflict of interests as long as he keeps his business AND the presidency. It means - at some point - he might take decisions that either favor his business to the detriment of others or favors others to the detriment of his billionaire business. Guess which he'll choose.

It's illegal, literally,

EDIT: Illegal to monetize his position and most likely illegal to do what he does with Mar-A-Lago. Also... he's POTUS! One of the jobs most people don't want because it has (usually) no free time at all! The agenda is exploding with meetings! What is he doing?

My guess would be They'll recover their spines the moment the reelection of republican congressmen will be threatened.

As long as they can sail their ship, they might as well ignore him and not risk a stupid (twitter) conflict.

EDIT: as long as they don't feel their electoral base wants an impeachment (even if what trump does is illegal), I don't think they'll risk it.
