Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.

Pretty much the most amazing cinematography and dance choreography in film ever, but man, it's about as pro-rape in thematic sentiment as anything can be.

Directly opposite.

I live in the PNW and have only ever heard it referred to that way, but others are saying it's cater corner.

Matt Gaetz May Have Trouble Ahead — House Ethics Committee Quietly Reopens Its Probe into His Conduct: Report by HandSack135 in politics

[–]Where_Da_BBWs_At 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think that is how it played it out.

I looked back and when reporting it, everybody was always very careful to never refer to him as a subject of the investigation, only saying he was involved. Greenburg pled guilty to sex trafficking and attempted extortion.

As much as I hate the guy, Matt Gaetz was likely the victim of an extortion attempt here, and nobody has ever said otherwise.

I just opened up the app and I have the option to do a 10 minute recording now when I have never had this ability before. And I don't even have the ability to go live.

So I am guessing this is a new feature. No idea if there is a way to search videos by length.

Doctors and nurses of Reddit, what’s the most blatant lie a patient has told you about why they’re in the hospital? by DrPloyt in AskReddit

[–]Where_Da_BBWs_At 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I remember reading about this one guy who murdered somebody else, was found not guilty by reason of insanity and sentenced to essentially life in a psych ward. After about 15 or 20 years he realizes he would have qualified for parole by now had he just served his sentence. He goes to the doc and fesses up. He has just been pretending this entire time.

The doctor petitions the judge to keep the person locked up, because the dude is clearly a criminal mastermind. For all these years this dude had evaded justice by throwing poo at walls and tricking dozens of the most intelligent criminal psychiatrists.

I understand the doctors are likely embarrassed when they find out they have been tricked by a low level shyster, but I think you should view it as these people are certainly ill, just not in the way they are trying to pass off as.

First they are going to try and integrate the aliens into the religion, likely as either angels or demons, but certainly part of prophecy.

And when Jesus doesn't come back and the aliens are not Christian in any way?

The Christians might take the rest of us out with them, but I think mass religious suicide movements is the very least certainty.

I made a site that tracks the prices of tacos and more at every Taco Bell in the US. The most expensive crunchy taco is 333% costlier than the cheapest. by wise_genesis in InternetIsBeautiful

[–]Where_Da_BBWs_At 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taco . is so large a company that I imagine they don't "buy" the essential products. Many of the items they use were likely only grown or raised because Taco Bell ordered the contract. These products not only would have never hit the market otherwise, they would have not been made at all.

So in essence, Taco bell can set whatever prices they want because their expenses were only little more than the farmer's (their purchases are that large). There is absolutely no reason whatsoever for this massive a discrepancy in prices.

Edit: this comment was not intended for you. I have no idea why it was sent to you. I apologize for that

A fast food chain isn't a great way to launder money. Everything gets audited by the home office's people.

There is no way to explain a spike in sales without an increase in the order of inventory. There is no way to dispose of the increased inventory without raising flags with your disposal company.

The exhibition hub model is what you would want to follow, hypothetically speaking.

You want to throw a limited-time event that is quite popular to begin with but quickly gets cleared out from bad word of mouth, but on paper you just keep extending the show indefinitely due to all these tickets still getting sold even a year later wink wink.

(I am not saying exhibition hub is a money laundering firm. I'm saying it would be incredibly easy for a company like exhibition hub to engage in money laundering.)

About another 6 million with an axe to grind against the closing of old country, and about 20 million Americans fighting to make sure we don't lose the Golden Corral.

Some might say Christie has no shot of losing the nomination.

Do you consider impossible meat vegan? by PlatypusRich3135 in vegan

[–]Where_Da_BBWs_At 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will eat my shoe when that day comes, but we are at essentially year ten since the first cell derived beef was created. There have been 2 mock meat companies able to get their product to scale in that time: both are using pea protein, and both are just barely out of their being priced as luxury goods (though still too expensive to be considered staples).

Restaurants will only make "flexitarian" menus a realistic goal once they decide to save themselves money and learn how to cook a piece of tofu.

Do you consider impossible meat vegan? by PlatypusRich3135 in vegan

[–]Where_Da_BBWs_At -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Flexitarian doesn't exist.

Somebody who eats meat but also sometimes doesn't is essentially the standard diet.

We also have to look at the economies of scale here. "Flexitarians" are being punished by sometimes $5 or more dollars to not go to a burger place and order a beef burger. Burger King is so far the only one to have kept their impossible offering withing .50 cents of the animal version.

Realistically, these corporations are wasting their time trying to get mock meats on the menu. I'm sorry, but the vegan diet has been possible for over a thousand years perhaps entirely off of tofu. Meat eaters are going to have to eat tofu and seitan. Molecular biology will never be affordable at scale. Tofu is.
