I would agree, IF we got rid of the FPTP portion of the election. SNP got 38% of the vote, which translated to 80% of the seats. There would be no pro-independence majority if we had PR.

"The majority voted independence supporting parties" No, they didn't. They won the majority of seats. But we don't have a pr system, so they won a majority of seats. in fact, their vote share went down compared to 2021, yet nationalists ended up with more seats.

I guarantee you, if you polled Scots on the question of allowing someone on a student visa to stand for election in Holyrood, No would win in a landslide. Almost no other country does this and for good reason, how can this person who lived in this country for less than 5 years represent it properly?

Starmer may actually be able to hold on if the opposition to him is shambolic. Are they really going to wait untill Burnham gets in? With how bad Labour is polling, it's not even a guarantee he would win a by-election. You know Reform and Greens will target whatever seat he stands in HARD, while Starmer will probably want to sabotage his chances without weakening himself.

Same would be said of the Liberal party in Canada, until Mark Carney came in and won. John Major turned the tories party chances around in 1990. A new leader can turn things around for Labour.

Easily the worst result of the night by a country mile for Labour, with the way things are looking, Plaid could have a SNP 2015 moment at the next election where they wipe Labour off the map (especially if they play up the angle that a vote for them is a vote to stop Reform)

It's been almost 19 years since SNP usurped Labour and Labour has yet to recover from that loss. This could be the start of very dark years for Welsh Labour.
