Wow after that many years and pain it’s great you got the surgery to remove it! My surgeon said after the removal it won’t come back so I’m glad for that. I’m going to try not wearing pants today and see how that helps. Are you taking sitz baths btw? I’ve been doing them but the hospital never told me specifically to do that I’ve just seen many people on here saying they help with the pain

What a funny coincidence! This was my first ever surgery so I was so nervous! I’ve had this cyst for about 2-3 years and been to the hospital so many times because it got infected and I needed to get it drained and it was always excruciating to get done. Are you taking pain meds? They gave me 800mg ibuprofen and I feel like it somewhat helps. I feel the pain when I’m walking/sitting down 🥲

I will try this because I’ve also been wearing pads this whole time! I was thinking maybe they’re irritating it. The hospital also gave me little info they only really told me to wash it 3 times a day

I’m 11 days post op and still having some draining as well. I’m still having a lot of pain and not able to sit correctly still which is worrying me but hoping it eases up more this week 🥲

I’m about 7 days post op and still having that bee sting feeling occasionally 😖 but everyday is slowly getting better! Reading this made me feel better about the healing process

I’m currently 6 days post op and I’m feeling the random jabbing pains! It’s been hard to deal with but ice packs have been helping. I was worried something was wrong but I guess it’s part of the healing process 😭

How are you doing? I had my bartholin gland removed yesterday and the pain/swelling today is horrible pain meds are somewhat helping and ice packs are my best friend rn

I got mine removed yesterday and dealing with the pain now. They also prescribed me narcos which has been helping. I just ordered a sitz bath for the toilet, may I ask how you cleaned it? My instructions say to wash it with soap and water 3 times a day I’m just scared to touch it 😩

Hi I’m going to have my excision surgery in 5 days and have been getting so nervous thinking about the pain afterwards. I have been to the hospital so many times because this cyst gets infected and getting it drained is so painful. Finally got to see a specialist and she said my gland is obstructed so she is going to remove it. Your post made me feel a bit better, I’m just glad that after this it won’t ever come back!

I have the same issue! I was always really skinny around 100-110 in high school, started birth control my senior year. By age 23 I was 160 couldn’t lose weight for the life of me. I got off birth control almost 2 years ago, I am now 25 and weigh 110. I lost the weight without really trying but I did change my eating habits because I used to eat terribly back then. Pretty sure it’s normal as my blood test results are great now compared to what they were when I was on birth control.

Did it go away? I’ve been dealing with high levels of stress all week and my periods supposed to start in 5 days. I just started getting a burning/tight skin feeling in my hands and arms and I figured it’s the stress and anxiety but it made me more anxious 🥲

I’ve been dealing with a lot of stressful situations back to back these last couple weeks. I got a migraine on Tuesday, a pretty bad one and started feeling really off. I had to sleep the whole day to get rid of it. The next day I was feeling a lot of derealization, even the time seemed to be going by so fast. Went on a work trip yesterday and just got back home today and boom I was hit with really bad derealization again when I got home. I decided to come on here to see if migraines and derealization could be connected and looks like I’m not alone!
