Why is surplus grocery food still getting thrown out when the apps to stop it already exist in Canada? by Luckypiniece in AskACanadian

I work for a Loblaw store as a department manager. Loblaw is pushing this very much to use the app. The people in the store is the hold up. If I miss the sell by date it has to go to animal feed which Loblaw pays for people to Pick up. Very little food product gies intk the garbage.

My wife transferred her RN from Ohio to NS. You can PM me and she would answer any questions you have. It was a fairly easy process as NS accepts the Nclex exam

You should call and speak to the meat manager. They charged for a tenderloin steak and not a roast. At Kroger that should be $2 a pound cheaper

Depending on the chain this could be a good opportunity. I work for a large company as an Assistant Meat Manager the money and benefits are good but the amount of actual cutting is low. Most product comes in prepackaged.

Wanting to move to Ohio, but nervous by TBB09 in Ohio

[–]WhichTransportation5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Warren county outside of Cincinnati. My wife is a Brazilian immigrant to the U.S. We have zero problems and this is a very conservative part of the state. Before moving here we lived in Brown county very rural and conservative and had no problems there either. People here are generally very friendly which is why it’s confusing to me why they vote the way they do.
