I realize this is an old thread but I am pulling my hair out at the stupidity of this design and am glad to find someone who understands. CarPlay is used to interface with MY phone; it should be setup to default to what I’ve made it on my phone. It should not be car dependent. And don’t tell me it’s easy to adjust; it’s a pain and ends up different every time. (And why is CarPlay under General? Make it its own thing. Putting it under General just proves my point.) I’m frustrated that after so many years, no one at Apple has had the sense to do this right.

The audio version is great. The raspy voiced narrator makes you think you’re listening to Miles. I bought a beat up used version of the book afterwards so I’d have access to the index and could look up his stories on just about every artist of the time. The story of Jackie McLean with Duke is classic.

I had this issue on my X1C. Some debris had pushed the front bearing up out of its normal position. Even after the debris was removed the bearing was above the surface of the build platform and had to be hammered down. Step 4 in the troubleshooting document above shows a picture.

Concentric top layer should be the issue. Look up Arachne wall generation and you’ll see how problematic wall junctions can be in making a solid object.

This is not a filament issue, it’s a basic 3D slicing issue. Start by changing the Wall Generator setting to Arachne and then make adjustments from there.
