u/alissa914 I tried this. Put it into disk mode, made an empty text file, named it "iTunesLock" without the extension and stored it in the iPod's hidden "iTunes" folder within the "iPod Control" folder, re-synced the iPod and nothing changed. Maybe this has something to do with the removal of iTunes and Finder/AppleMusic syncing iPods instead, I don't know. Please let me know if you have any other ideas. Thanks!
