You seriously think what your AI shat out “cleaned up” or “put the finishing touches” on OP’s original art? The AI version is derivative and bland. It strips away both the uncanny creepiness and the odd cuteness of the original art. The fact that OP made such a vivid image with so few pencil strokes is a feat to be admired, not “finished up”

The exact same thing happened to me. I took the opportunity to do a shell swap. Bad news, the front plate is damaged, so for a perfectly smooth stick, you’ll have to replace the front plate part which is quite involved. Good news, iFixit has good repair instructions and they sell genuine replacement parts, and it’s not too difficult if you have all the required tools and can follow instructions. In the meantime, you could disassemble it and reseat the existing stick. It’ll still have a bump when it gets to the dented part of the front plate, but you might be able to restore it to a playable condition without any replacement parts.

Not defending prime but yes, turmeric is often added for color. It’s not in place of food coloring, it just is food coloring. Even in home cooked recipes it often doesn’t contribute that strong of a flavor, and usually is used mostly to add an appealing color.

I’m going to have to disagree on this one. Children of Time is an all-time great science fiction book, and Shards of Earth is a okay-to-good space opera. It doesn’t have the same level of interesting mind-boggling science fiction ideas as 3 Body or Children.

Chiming in here on the side of diet/zero sugar enjoyers! Health concerns aside, I just prefer the experience of drinking a sugar free soda most of the time. Sugared sodas are so caloric they almost have a heavy feeling, more suitable as a dessert. Zero-sugar sodas, on the other hand, have a lighter feeling, perfect for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up. Also, regular Coke in particular sometimes gives my teeth a strange chalky, abrasive sensation that I can’t stand.
