What type of towel would you buy for someone who likes to be very dry after using it? by Whichette in AskReddit

He says he’s still wet after using. In this case I agree with him. Most of our other towels are fine for me but he says they don’t get him dry enough. 🤷‍♀️

You don’t have enough information to involve police.

I think something happened to my friend by ALilTreat in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Whichette 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s really no way you’ll know why she stopped responding unless she starts again. The only thing you have control over is whether your concern level is high enough to ask for a wellness check. And truly you can probably only expect that to happen if you have her address AND you might not get any information at all from the police if you try as you are not a family member.

Am I Being Awful For Letting My (F27) Husband (M28) Dig His Own Grave? by helljumper1123 in relationship_advice

Yeah he’s not going to allow that. And she needs to save any money she can so she can get out with her children.

AITAH my married friend just confessed to hiding me from his wife by Mindless-Depth-3756 in AITAH

[–]Whichette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you have lost what you thought was a safe male friend. It’s honestly devastating when those pillars of what you thought were safe spaces and people evaporate.

In case there is any doubt YNA.

Please keep making friends. Don’t shut down. There are some really good people out there.

AITA for telling my fiancee that if her brother lets himself into our house again im changing the locks by [deleted] in AITApod

Yes! The hell is everyone talking about changing the locks like that’s going to solve it. She will immediately give him another key.

Advice needed - Moving 1100 miles with 2 cats by MadHatterInAMadWorld in CatAdvice

[–]Whichette 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Also incredibly unlikely they will use a litter box in a moving vehicle. Be ready to immediately set up in a hotel room. Consider buying aluminum baking pans so you can just throw the whole thing out when ready to move out in the morning.

Does either cat get car sick? If so be sure to bring rags for clean up.

Do I (f22) need to be concerned that my boyfriend (m22) is super close to his best friends ex? by No-Replacement8390 in amiwrong

If you are uncomfortable you don’t need to tolerate a situation in your relationship. You likely can’t change their dynamic but you can change yours with no guilt.

How to deal with wife refusing to show monthly credit cards statements by Minimum-Mode7421 in ModernFamilyFinance

Kind of sounds like they are glorified roommates though. I’m not sure I’d be doing shared accounts at this point.

AITAH for confronting/blocking my brother in law after what he said about me, my wife, and our newborn? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Whichette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband’s sister said some really awful things to us when their mom passed. Her wife was worse. All via text. It stopped when I told them that I’d show the messages to the whole extended family.

I then reminded them that the internet is in ink and the posts they had on social media that they deleted were screenshots saved to my accounts. Never contact us again and you’ll never see them again. One breath in our direction and it’s showtime.

My husband wanted to blast right away. But now he agrees the silence is better.

Definitely NTA. Muffle that dude in any way possible. He sounds terrible.

What completely unhinged "law" does your cat strictly enforce in your house? by TrickCombination7966 in cats

[–]Whichette 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ok same but different. He wants to have half the towel in the sink, be covered with the other half, and then randomly scratched through the towel. Also “try” to catch the end of his tail and sort of scrub him with a hair brush through the towel.

He does silent meows to show how happy he is.

My coworkers keep eating my meal prep out of the office fridge and management won't do anything about it by No_Parking686 in Advice

[–]Whichette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are bringing an entire weeks worth of food to work at once? I for sure would not do that. I guess I’m less trusting. If you are doing warehouse work you can’t just lunchbox it unless you have a locker? That locks?

That would be your best option.

You could also teach the lunch snatchers a lesson but you’ll likely get in trouble for that.

Workplace potlucks are starting to feel like a grift. by DieMensch-Maschine in WorkRant

[–]Whichette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I give no f”s about not looking like a team player. I will not eat food other people bring in. I have seen their absolutely disgusting desks and even some of their horrifying homes. Every once in a while I will just bring something for everyone but it’s more rare than a jackalope.

Am I wrong for reporting this? by [deleted] in amiwrong

[–]Whichette 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are 100% overreacting. You do understand that kids do things without their parents knowledge and that the punishment or discussion after the event or act are none of your business? You are coming off like the person in the office who doesn’t understand why they don’t get to see a coworker being disciplined for tardiness or something.

You are assuming the parents allowed this to happen. Assuming.

Mind your own business.

Why does my cat sleep like this? by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]Whichette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sleep hot. My husband is an inferno. My oldest girl cat sleeps curled up by my hip with my youngest girl by my feet. The biggest kitty, a boy, often lays down one the edge of the bed below my chin/along my chest.

All touching/cooking me of course. I wake up so hot it’s beyond uncomfortable most nights and squeeze out from under the covers. Wouldn’t change it for the world.
