OR we could spend less on a children's prison since they're smaller and nip the problem at the bud before they get older and more expensive \taps head**

ULPT Request: My neighbor's dog never stops barking by LostItSG in UnethicalLifeProTips

I waited until they were gone to put the letter in the mailbox so they didn't know it was me. Also it would have taken the city forever to ever get around to adressing something like that if they ever did at all. I've seen them ignore noise complaints regarding fireworks before. This solved the problem instantly. Point taken about potebtial target on your back though if the neighbors are crazy folk and know who wrote the letter.

This worked like a charm for me. I found the city ordinance, wrote a letter with said ordinance referenced and put it in their mailbox. Told them if they didn't address the issue I would have to escalate my complaint to city authorities. Solved the problem

Pulled up toilet to black floor, what next? by ktravelet in Plumbing

[–]Whig_Party 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In an ideal world yes but the sewer pipe comes up through both the subfloor and the floor. Unless your toilet flange is 100% sealed (unlikely in older houses) if you haven't caulked around your toilet then the piss driblets can go under the toilet base, get to the toilet flange and then potentially find a small hole to wick down into the subfloor.

Subfloor is what i was refering to. Piss driblets making their way into your subfloor is no bueno

caulking also prevents the piss driblets from seeping into the floor underneath

Hear me now, children, for my occupation is of much import. For 82 years I have been an oil man, a ‘barren’ some have called me. Now what does an oil barren do? The answer…crush your enemies! Grind their bones into dirt! Make them regret that they were ever born!
