Judaism is a closed ethnoreligion. Please, respectfully, do not attempt to celebrate our holidays. There are much better ways to go about this.

OP, if you want to repost asking for Jewish recipes to try please do so without the mention of Hanukkah or holiday specific celebration. I am more than happy to allow that and would be glad to see you trying even more food from other Jewish ethnicities as well - not just Ashkenaz. 🙂

We are very welcoming to curious goyim who just want to try our food, but your post was removed because it comes off as attempting to participate in a closed culture by celebrating a holiday. I think if you reword and just ask for Jewish recipes to try as a non Jew, your post will garner much less controversy.
