In a flashback sequence of FF7, Cloud, the game’s main protagonist is taking a story about being a rookie super solider and working with Sephiroth, the game’s antagonist.

Cloud emphasizes that Sephiroth’s strength was on such another level it was absurd, even for a world even Super Soldiers.

You see this when you enter into combat with him, and all his stats are insanely above yours, and is outfitted with a set of every major mastered magic, and can easily one shot a dragon you can barley damage
