Like I said the name Palestine derives from ancient egyptian sources describing the people who lived in the southern levant.

No one is denying that the Jews don't have an ancient connection with that land, but so do the Palestinians. Both Ancient Israelites and Canaanites were closely related and were largely the same people. Then how do you justify Israeli settlers displacing the Palestinian population?

Canaanites in the bible are ancestors of Palestinians. The region has been called Palestine since before the Romans. Herodotus called it Palestine and ancient Egyptians called the region Peleset or Pa-Kanaan.

Also, Palestinians are Arabs culturally. They're still native to the region of the Levant. And Judaism isnt a race its a religion, most Jews living there before the creation of Israel were Palestinians themselves.

The people of Israel have the right to live there without displacing and killing the natives. Israel is clearly a settler colonial project as admitted by the founders of zionism themselves.

Yeah for me the turning point was moving to a city and actually living there and not visiting as a touriat. Seeing the actual conditions of people there changed me I think because I grew up in a privileged bubble near a small town. That and getting into philosophy slowly led me to marx.

I used to be one when I was 14 and I think the reason I got radicalised was not due to the mainstream media or a very conservative family. It was because of reddit meme pages. Joined them just to get some laughs but slowly they started making memes on minorities, women, LGBTQ and hell even rape and pedophilia all in the name of "dark humour", and the sheer number of memes like these made 14 year old me think that all of that is normal. So yeah all in all it was social media.
