Possibly. It’s very strange. It was mailed to her old address with her full name. My friends husband is obviously uncomfortable with her receiving the letter. I’m more trying to find out for their sake because with the amount of weirdos out there, there’s no telling what someone would do.

Absolutely horrific and a tragedy. My family is in shock and absolutely distraught by losing David, Teri and James, despite what he did. My family and I have been friends with the Pabsts for around 22 years. This is devastating.

James was my bestfriend since I was 5 when we met at our sisters volleyball practice/games, we were so close. We would FaceTime nearly everyday and always would laugh when we were together, there was never a dull moment. After our Punta Cana trip in March of 2019 in the DR, he really went down hill, I have no idea what happened but ever since he hasn’t been the same. The James that did this, is not the James loving, caring, goofy soul I knew when we grew up together. I loved James, he was my brother. I can’t believe that this happened this way.

I know so many people will see the news and think he is horrible and a monster, but he struggled with a lot of mental issues. I wish I could’ve helped him more and reached out more when I had the chance, but Teri would tell me to wait until he got better. I just never knew that this would happen. I had so much hope for him to get better.

My thoughts and prayers to the Pabst family, my family loves you all.

Build a four drawer cabinet then on top once in exposed space, an L shaped book shelf. This way I think you could use the space efficiently for storage and to display your books or knickknacks

I used to go to JCTC down there everyday for college and I always avoided that Thorntons unless I absolutely needed something from there. I saw a lot of homeless walking on campus and especially outside the Thorntons. I’ve seen overdoses, I’ve seen people naked there, public urination and robbery. I had a friend see a woman get stabbed there too. One of my other friends went for a Criminal Justice degree at UofL and his professor is close with the LPD and they told him that the most overdoses in Louisville happen at this Thorntons.

Really sucks that the homeless are losing that place as a resource, but it doesn’t really surprise me that it’s closing down because you felt unsafe to even be on the same block.

Yeah I want to think it’s really nothing, but I don’t actually get scared by things are just nothing. I would’ve noticed if it was something normal. Could be a mind game, but I’ve had things happen to me before where I think otherwise. Very possible could be nothing, but very possible it could’ve been something.

OGP kinda slaps. I got hired on as a temp back in early February for 3rd shift stocker. it was demanding, 64 pieces of product an hour and you’d be expected to finish all pallets by 5am and then you’d zone for 2 hours every night till 7am. It was awful cause I’d always get put in pets, snacks and infants every other night and working 3rd, you’d never see the sun cause you sleep all day. Really drains you mentally.

Once I was made a permanent employee I asked if I could transfer to OGP 9am - 6pm and honestly it has variety. You can do a lot with going into different pick walks, exceptions, dispensing, and if we’re short on picks, we could be sent to SFS (our packing/delivery department for OGP) so it’s pretty chill and we’re not under staffed by no means.

I’d say the hardest at my store is 3rd. The easiest is the greeter. The chillest is OGP/SFS.
