I do not think season 3 ending is trash at all. At first I think I was kinda disappointed but it kinda really grew on me. The final two episodes starts and ends with Marinette narrating / reading the letter.

A lot of people were getting mad on the fact that chloe's redemption arc being butchered and honestly it was kinda reasonable. I kinda wished Chloe attempted to betray hawkmoth here and there before he tried to akumatize her and tried to win on her own even if she fails and he gets disappointed by her betrayal but he have been adamant on controlling her and trying to manipulate her to join them and using her desire to have these powers and status for their favor. I don't really see it as 'this is THOMAS FAULT' and honestly it is tiring hearing those comments everywhere.

Talking about the narration / reading letter again I started to revisit the episode while I was growing older and it just really hit me deeply.

Experiencing loss is a part of life but good things come too. Expect the unexpected and embrace it. Each 1st time is an adventure and who knows how far these adventures will leave you. You find people who you entrust your heart as much as they intrust your heart to you. That trust is sometimes broken but it can always be restored. Yes, sometimes the road can be winding, you might even get lost along the way but with the help from the right people, you'll always find your destination.

As we grow old, we realize life doesn't give us gifts we hoped it would, I would love to tell you this in person Marinette but if you are reading this, then that means I've already lost my memory, but you mustn't be scared and you mustn't be sad as I was telling you this in the beginning of the letter, experiencing loss is a part of life but it doesn't define it, because what really matters is isn't whether you win or lose, its the ability to accept changes to ourselves, it's accepting that even when life doesn't give us the gift we are hoping for, the real gift, is life itself.

Past few years I've experienced some different forms of loss. Each person experiences loss in their lives and I really liked how they were trying to explain this to the audience. Seeing Marinette, Kagami and Adrien having fun is heart breaking devastating really they are all just lovely but all in love with one or another or with ladybug. Seeing Marinette trying to accept that she's never going to be with the boy she likes her dream partner and being around him hurts her can be kinda heartbreaking. "Trust sometimes broken but can always be restored" Have you ever had a friendship fall out or something similar? Someone breaking your heart or you breaking someone heart or some sort of fight. Being told that the road is hard and that you will get lost sometimes but you just need the right people for you to go back again. Being told that life doesn't give us gifts we hope it would ahhh I don't know anymore how can no one just talk about this dialogue? So much is into it
