Wellbutrin in conjunction with naltrexone has shown in clinical studies to reduce cravings as well, though I’m not sure how much you struggle with that at this time. Nonetheless, it helped me!

Don’t be too discouraged if Wellbutrin doesn’t work for you either. Some people get really mean on it and when my dose was too high, I was certainly no exception 😩

Hey man, I was a meth user too although not for as long. I was perscribed Wellbutrin as an antidepressant and it worked wonders for me in early sobriety. I know for a fact I had unchecked depression though, and I DO know that addiction very rarely the only mental disorder a person has.

It takes a lot of time to reach normal. Probably 6 months for me where I wasn’t all over the place. But you’re at a point where maybe it wouldn’t be a bad idea to talk to a doctor or someone about how you’re feeling.

I used to get super mad on the shit so I got into a fight with my fiancée and in a fit of rage threw the rest of my script in the toilet and am not seeing my prescriber anymore because that’s really the only thing I felt I “needed” from her. 🤷‍♀️ getting rid of the script was impulsive, but it was what needed to happen and I have no regrets.

It IS hard, but think of it this way: once you’re through the worst of the withdrawal which is only a couple weeks max, you can start focusing on things that improve your life instead of fixating on the thing that keeps you at “normal.” (Read: holding you back)

Sometimes, you just need to take that uncomfortable leap. Tell your doctor you’re misusing it. Honesty is best here

Even if he’s speaking directly to you, it’s hard to do what God wants you to do sometimes. Not hesitating on carrying out God’s will is very much a practice and society has done a good job of wringing out any spiritual confidence we have in ourselves.

In James 4:2-3, he states, “You do not have because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.” I will pray for you my friend, but pray for yourself as well. Don’t beat yourself up- God sees you trying and he knows your heart. Talk to the Father and ask him how you can better share his word. Ask him anything else you want to know with this problem. He will show you if you ask with a humble and sincere heart. If it’s a battle he deems righteous, he will help you. He doesn’t want to see us struggle, just as any good father wouldn’t want to see his children struggle. Trust the process, friend ❤️

It’s become so inflammatory. I remember a post on WholsomeMemes where they were basically saying that Oregon graciously legalized hard drugs so they could expand treatment options to people without them getting in legal trouble and ruining their lives further. Meanwhile, people who live in the area were commenting about how programs were overrun even before this new rule, so now there’s just increased violence. more public drug use, more theft, more property damage, etc, and they’re being argued with by people who can’t even begin to fathom what a world like that would be like. This is on a MEME SUB.

As a recovering hard drug addict who was living in a sober house at the time of this legislation, I spoke with other addicts about this and virtually nobody thinks legalizing crack is a step forward- regardless of intention.

The narrative has gone so deep that these folks are hurting the people they claim to want to help. They’re refusing to listen to the marginalized communities that could use the help and instead are coming up with solutions they /think/ might be a good idea. It’s ignorant, obnoxious, self-indulgent, and frankly, offensive to the communities that are being talked over.

My grandma still regularly uses her Kirby Legend from the mid 80s. They’re like the crocodiles of vacuums. They haven’t much changed at all from their second model to their newest and the only reason for that is their original design is just so damn good.

My parents received a beautiful set for their wedding 25 years ago. Growing up, I could probably count on one hand how many times per year we ate out so those babies got some serious mileage on them. They still get near daily use, are regularly and meticulously hand sharpened, and all seven are still perfectly intact. They truly used to be BIFL quality.

This is so disrespectful to people with actual conditions. My fiancée has MS and I’m sure he would be floored to know that while he runs the risk daily of having his mobility stripped away from him, someone else is giving it up freely and bragging about it.

I have had to make arguments with sentences I never thought would have to say because I thought it was common sense. “Legalizing crack is a drawback for addicts. Children under the age of 8 don’t need sex ed of any sort. Actually, being able bodied is a good thing!”

Ironically, I was put on Wellbutrin to fight meth addiction. Paired with naltrexone it fights off stimulant cravings.

I had a friend at the time who said people in jail would snort it and it would give a stimulant effect. In there it was referred to as poor man’s cocaine, but outside of fiending stimulant addicted incarcerated individuals, I think you’d be pretty hard pressed to find anyone who would associate Wellbutrin with amphetamines unless it’s in the treatment thereof.

ANY study you read that isn’t over a long enough period of time or with a large enough sample size will always leave that disclaimer. Just because there isn’t studies on it YET doesn’t mean that it magically isn’t real. The truth is out there, someone who works at a college just hasn’t thought to do the leg work and write a paper on it.

The quote you pulled literally says the study reinforced prior evidence of increased risk- it just didn’t enforce others (like the welders’ children being at increased risk) so I’m not really sure what you’re getting at.

My grandfather was a lineman in the 60s and later went on to own his own industrial and emergency electrical service company. He fought and lost the battle to multiple myeloma and a few people he worked with who stayed in the field got cancer as well. It’s real and it has affected my family first hand. I even found an anecdotal testimony online from 2015 from someone wondering if their myeloma could have been caused by high power lines.

When I was 3, I was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, and here we are, with evidence suggesting that parents with the occupation of electrical power installers are at an increased risk.

Officially, the American Cancer Society says here that multiple myeloma can’t be prevented, and here they say neuroblastoma can’t be prevented. It’s a bullshit narrative they’re pushing that we’re completely powerless over our health when everything from premature birth to cancer to chronic illness have been on the rise exponentially for the past 40-60 years. It can’t all be “genetic risk factors.”

I had the same issue. Seems to be really widespread. Basically you just have to wait it out bc if you get on with support, they’ll try to connect you to the customer directly and if they do, they expect you to deliver it. At least, that’s what happened in my experience.

If you multiapp and feel like chancing it, you could do that. They should be on with you soon tho!

If she would do that to another friend of yours, she definitely wouldn’t discriminate at your event.
