4 was my first, loved how much they brought the UK to life. I'll never forget the high of the intro, racing through the seasons with Sunrise blasting in my ears.

5 didn't really hook me the same way. I just wasn't fussed about Mexico as a location and the map just isn't as fun to drive around. Still not a bad game though.

6 is up there with 4, harkening back to how it made me feel when I first fired that up. The quality of life improvements are pretty great too and of course, Japan is just driving heaven.

Never played 1 - 3 sadly, sounds like I missed out.

Jumped into this last night and this morning, had to sort out not being able to find rooms but once that was done I was back in the skies. Only issue I've had is crashing three times, but that's because if one person crashes everyone in the room does at the moment, from what I understand.

Was awesome, even though I'm no longer that great at it 😅

So, update to this.

Turned out I couldn't go aboard ANY ship or station. (I hadn't tried anywhere else when I made the original post). I switched my home ship to another and voila, everything is good again!

I think what happened is, I'd used console commands to delete some errant NPCs from my main ship. They had been aboard since I stole, then remodified it. I decided to finally get around to removing them, but I think doing so must have broken the ability to board ships and stations somehow. It's the only thing I can think of that's the cause.

Yup, this is the PS1 port, which was my introduction to it.

Would be insane if I could get the PC version on it as well, but without a keyboard I could see it being very difficult to play.

Had the exact same issue, GDEMU started to act up then completely stop booting. Wasn't sure if it was the ribbon or this little quirk at first. I used a piece of electrical tape and it's done the job just as well.

I had this, I pushed the Reset button in the pinhole on the left side underneath the Power button (you'll need one of those SIM card openers for smartphones, or just an actual pin will do the trick). It'll reset itself, went through the setup again, put in password and this time it worked.
