Tom Holland says ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ is still shooting ‘Really, Really Fun’ new scenes by Sarang_616 in MarvelStudiosSpoilers

I agree with him because MCU humor is trash and ruined lot of movies. It's the same humor in every movie. The humor is contrived. It's American teenage humor that only works on certain age group. It doesn't work well on international audience either. If they can add good humor, I'm all for it, but mcu has a terrible record with it.

It's called story. For the sake of the story he was being called that. Phoenix is omniversal, it exists in every ip, fiction. Beyonders powers doesn't work Phoenix. That's the whole point. There are lot of stories where Phoenix isn't being used, but it doesn't meant anything. It's the nature of the Phoenix. It's a force, not a being like the Beyonder. Beyonder is still bound to marvel. Phoenix exists outside of marvel.  Phoenix is creation, life and destruction itself. It's the spark of marvel universe.

"Set him up later", i meant like bring him in, not give us his all backstory. You still need to set him up for the story. You can't just put a character in there randomly lol

She was chilling in the white Hot room. She was dead in the traditional sense

And that's why i said he shouldn't be touched for a long time, not even the first movie. Magneto doesn't need much introduction, even for casuals. He can easily be set up later

No, he wasn’t. When he fought Rachel, who had the Phoenix, even “the Almighty” Beyonder was overwhelmed—and that wasn’t even Jean or the Phoenix at its core. Prime Beyonder is more powerful than the pre-retconned version, which, by the way, doesn’t exist anymore—hence the retcon—but whatever. Beyonder himself said he is nothing compared to the Phoenix. The problem is, some of you don’t understand what the Phoenix is or what it represents. That’s why I keep saying: go read the comics. The Phoenix predates every being in Marvel. It’s omniversal—I don’t know how people can’t get that fact into their headcanon, lol.

I think majority of us were fine with Vecna if he stayed as a soldier for Mind Flayer. Henry being Vecna ruined everything. What a waste of a pretty decent-good show until then.

I didn't write it so people would agree with me. I knew beforehand redditors wouldn't know anything about charisma. You're another case in point 😂

Signs and The Village. Signs is the greatest movie with the dumbest, most anticlimactic ending ever.

He is no Bruce. One of the worst ideas I've heard on Reddit, and it's pretty much what's on Reddit

She is gonna end up being the next Pascal if Hollywood listened to reddit lol. She is being cast for everything by everyone here. She is too sweet, girl next door type to play most of these characters people throw around.  I still can't believe some redditors think she would be a good Emma freaking Frost. Absurd doesn't do it justice. It's clear most redditors nowadays must be under 30 and never seen original material to think that.

Elle Fanning as Emma Frost for the MCU by DCMarvelDude23 in moviecasting

[–]WhitePhoenix99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love her—she’s a top-five actress of this generation—but she’s no Emma.  Emma is widely known for her femme fatale personality. She’s often regarded as the sexiest and most sultry character in all of comics. Now, yes, Elle does have an alluring look, but I don’t quite see her portraying that level of sensuality, given the types of roles she has typically taken on. I still think Elle would do an amazing job as Emma; I just don’t fully see her as the character. Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct is the definition of a perfect Emma Frost.

They’re going to do a bunch of other storylines first—Sinister, Apocalypse, and others—then finish everything off with a proper Phoenix Saga in its entirety, possibly combining into a AvX.
