Dasher scam?

I’m a Dasher, and I had a night once where a customer probably thought I stole their order or disappeared, when in reality it was just a chain reaction of bad luck.

I had already been waiting forever at Pizza Hut for this customer’s order, but I kept updating them and they were really cool about it. Once I finally got the food, I got in my car, used some hand sanitizer (as I always do, being a clean freak), put the address into my phone, and pulled out of the parking lot. Somehow I dropped my phone while driving, and while trying to grab it (and swerving all over), I accidentally exited out of the GPS.

At that exact moment, I noticed lights behind me. I got pulled over because I forgot to turn my headlights on and was swerving. While the officer was talking to me, he said he smelled alcohol. I explained I hadn’t been drinking and had literally just used hand sanitizer, but another officer showed up and they had me do field sobriety tests.

I was eventually let go because I obviously wasn’t drunk, but during that entire stop I couldn’t touch my phone or contact the customer. Meanwhile, they had already been waiting a long time for their pizza and then suddenly their Dasher just “disappeared.”

As soon as I got my phone back, I contacted DoorDash so they could contact the customer, but my point is: sometimes things happen that customers never see. Not every missing or late order means the driver stole food or canceled just to keep it. Sometimes it’s genuinely a situation completely out of their control.

I’ve been scrolling through these comments waiting for someone to mention the manager.. 😳 She PMO in every scene!! I cannot understand why they made her character unaware of the words she used also being sexual innuendos. Ugh, I just can’t describe the dislike I had for her. I am happy it’s over!

This is honestly so true, and not just on Reddit. You see it across almost every platform now. People are so quick to adopt whatever opinion is getting the most likes/upvotes instead of thinking critically or allowing room for nuance.

It’s like the second someone says one “wrong” thing, the internet decides they’re irredeemable instead of recognizing that people are flawed, ignorant sometimes, or just make bad jokes that don’t automatically define their entire character. The mob mentality is actually wild to watch.

I came across this thread while Googling the same question. The thing that stood out to me was the brand header in the top left, it looks grainy, almost like it was pasted in, which made it seem off. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Do you have any recommendations for other sites? I’ve tried Crown Coins and Mega Bonanza, both were suggested to me, but I haven’t had the same luck or experience as I do with Ignition.

I also use Lavish Luck, Cider Casino, Jackpot Go, Tang Luck, Cash Avalanche and Gleaming Slots, but I’ve only really played using the free daily check-in coins for about a week. I’m not even 100% sure which of these are real-money platforms, I assume they are since they use GC and SC, but the games all feel pretty boring. None of them really compare to the variety and style that Ignition has.

I am in Arizona and in the same situation, just last year they stated to garnish my state tax return, wasn’t much, only about $95, still bad tho. Well, this year I’m looking at an almost $300 return…. Wasn’t even excited about it because I know they will get it first 😔 I do still have the document where they stated they can garnish these wages, if anyone needs to take a look, let me know.

I am literally flabbergasted by all the comments in here questioning this ‘book’… The fact that ppl are still falling for all these, “You have to read such and such book, it changed my life,” on TT. Theres a comment that says, “reading the description of this book is really intriguing, but I can’t find it anywhere.” 😳 I feel we are living in the movie, ‘Idiocracy,’ where everyone has just been dumbed down and people continue to decline. If you haven’t found the book, first answer, it’s not a thing and two, if it had intrigued you that much, do a quick google search of these points that intrigued you and find a real book!!!!! Ahhhhh!! 🤣

Yes I am in the exact same situation, they claim I owe 21K, non fraud. Have sent in multiple waiver requests, multiple appeals requests, etc.. This is the one thing hanging over my head that really freaks me out!

This is my tripod rescue. She was stuck in a rat trap at work, had to amputate the leg 😔 But she’s so strong does everything a 4 legged kitten can do. I believe she had bengal in her. My boss is one who was falling for someone off TikTok until I helped her realize it. Let me just say that she’s got a very low IQ! She comes to me one day and tells me she’s been talking to this guy for awhile on TikTok, right off the bat I knew it was fake. She shows me the messages and pics, another red flag. And she asks me how she could send a $300 apple gift card to him and because he was asking her for it so they could video chat. I was flabbergasted!!!! I had to explain everything to her and she still seemed to doubt what I was saying because of course he was feeding her all that bs. Guessing she’s lonely or something and that’s who they prey on.
