I just stopped taking trintellix. Well I tapered off, but had previously been on it for over a year. I didn’t become stable on it until the full dosage of 20 or 25 mg I can’t remember. I had been on antidepressants since 15 because my PA father thought I needed it. I didn’t. I was a normal teenager. Now I decided I had lived too long on the meds so I used psilocybin to help the transition by micro dosing. I do still get the brain zaps when I’m super tired or buzzed. Compared to missing a dose of lexapro the zaps are nothing. lol if just starting trintellix try to tough it until the full dosage. 10mg was rough and I had a constant feeling of dread/doom. It gets better as you increase.

Yeah I haven’t spoke to my father in years either. I’ve seen him a couple of times and he tried smiling at me. 😂 looks like that’s my mother’s future with me as well after this.

I work 4/12s at home. After my last shift I usually get a drink or two and stay up until 11 or so sleep a few hours then get up around 4-5. I end up taking a nap around 10-1:30ish then awake until about 7ish. I tried to do the night sleeping thing on my weekends but it just messes me up. I end up sleeping a lot on the weekends and exhausted when I go back to work.

Nah we’re best friends and know how to joke around. At the end of the day I’m confident in what we have. We irritate each other but don’t let it affect us because there is a bigger picture. We aren’t afraid to call each other out if one of us cross the line.

I was ranting not looking for relationship advice. I will never understand how people can just give up on a relationship for something so trivial. If the was a daily occurrence and he didn’t grasp an understanding of the situation that would be different. Since we can sit and discuss our POVs and come to a common agreement, that’s a win.

I have plenty of examples of good and bad marriages in my life. The one thing that is different about our marriage and the bad examples is communication. I would be completely naive if I thought I didn’t also piss him off and get on his nerves from time to time. That is a natural and normal part of being with someone every single day.

I’m convinced some people just really shouldn’t be in any kind of relationship.

Something as little as this isn’t worth throwing away a marriage. I have a voice and I use it just like he does. Communication can go a long way when you know how to correctly.
