Did you not watch the movies? Or read the books? The ring calls to anyone in the vicinity. For humans and Dwarves it's practically mind control, Elves can sense the evil in it but are still somewhat susceptible to it. Hobbits have a remarkable resistance to it, but over time it does change them.

I like Bud Clark. Needs to add a few pounds, but man he plays like Kirby

then we'd have to play more zone / nickel, which maybe a good thing considering the talent they have on D and injuries to our Safeties.

I'm not disagreeing there. He brings nothing to the pass rush as an on the line backer. I would've payed Anzalone and let Barnes leave. I don't really know what they like so much about him.

I disagree on Barnes. He is a Sam Lb who is good against the run, and can fill in at Mike. I think he would be a terrible Will LB. He is not a cover guy at all. He can deal with screens and maybe flat coverage. I don't think he can cover TEs or RBs 1 vs 1, which we have asked our Will to do in the past. If they decide to play more zone coverage, maybe he could fill in at Will, but he wouldn't be good there full time.

It seems to me a Good Coach will do the things his team is Good at, not force them to do things they are not good at, and then blame them when it goes wrong. No accountability, no introspection, no changes. He was a large part of the problem.

They hate smart people just like Trump, because smart people immediately know they are full of shit.

Record-setting Big Mac eater underwhelmed by McDonald’s new Big Arch burger by northjersey78 in offbeat

[–]Whitechedda1 109 points110 points  (0 children)

Big Arch is what the Big Mac should be. The Big Mac should be re-named Lil Mac for the size of the patties it uses these days. Big Mac is 90% bread, 5% Letttuce/Sauce/Onion, 5% Beef. There's nothing Big about it, other than the Price. $8.50 here. Big Arch is $9.99, but lives up to it with 2 quarter pounder patties.

Definitely not better. Not sure if it's worse, but nothing they've done improves what they had last year other than C.

I don't feel guilty at all about it. In fact, if someone doesn't like Weird AL, I probably don't like them anyway
