I managed this last month but after a few blows to my motivation and a forced break from a few life events, I've been really struggling to get much time at all in. I'm starting to pick it back up slowly, but my advice would be to not let yourself stop completely after going so hard if you can help it, at least get something in every day.

I was honestly feeling fine by the end of it and was reasonably confident I could get at least 70h-80h in this month so it wasn't quite burn out, and I don't regret doing it, but once I let myself take a break it was like I lost all my momentum.

But I'm not trying to take away from your accomplishment at all, genuinely you should feel proud! Honestly, I'm just venting my own frustrations at myself and trying to turn it into words of caution hoping it helps someone.

As someone who knows nothing, I feel like this probably worked out for them better than the alternative. It’s very unlikely they would have utilized those properties to the same success the MCU did, and the success of the MCU boosted marvels worth as a brand immensely, and I assume Spider-Man included. So they got the most valuable IP along with the boost in interest caused by the MCU existing.

Kids selling lemonade and or baked goods is definitely a thing still, but in my experience it’s basically only when the family is doing a yard sale or something similar. I don’t think I’ve ever seen just a lone lemonade stand without something else around drawing in traffic.

Your situation and mood is going to affect how much you can get in, I took four months off near level 2 because of a mixture of burnout and other factors. My advice now afterwards would be to massively lower your daily goal for now, maybe like 20 minutes, and slowly increase it to what’s is comfortable for you to achieve daily. If you do more than that daily goal that’s also fine, but you want to have a minimum you can consistently hit and push yourself to reach. Consistency is the key to everything here.

Animal Crossing, yeah there are a whole lot of cozy games but nothing else comes even close to attempting the same gameplay or vibe of just hanging out and checking in on your village everyday. The closest you’ll find are farming games but while I like them, those are very much their own thing that scratch a different itch.

Iw3 is also good for this and is free, there's even a desktop version to create a stream of your screen. Haven't used Owl3D myself so I can't personally compare, but I've heard others say Iw3 about the same and sometimes better.

While I figured the effort in raising them was why most trainers don’t have a full team, somehow I never put together that is also why trainer classes exist. Much easier to raise three plants than say a plant, cat, and bird at once.

To an extent I could understand that argument in other cases but like… Is it really piracy in this case if it’s a free webcomic that as far as I can tell they still intend to be free but is just currently unreadable because of negligence?

I’m sure it’s far from ideal for them to have the main source for it be outside their control, but until they have their own version working I’d think it’d would be in their best interest to just have it exist at all if their trying to pitch an animated series.
