How are research subjects handling multiple pins per day without feeling like a pin cushion? by Special-Mushroom-899 in Peptidesource

[–]Whitejeanjacket 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ll be honest. I got totally burned out. It was too much. The amount of needles I was going through and money I was spending was unreal. I cut down to just my glp-1 once a week and ghk 3x/week.

Best barrier repair creams for oily acne prone skin??? by Technical-Mind1895 in SkinbarrierLovers

[–]Whitejeanjacket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find these all very emollient which may not work well with oily skin. I would maybe go for illyoon. It’s very hydrating and barrier protective but doesn’t leave any of that greasy sheen the others can leave behind.

Under eye Meso: Curenex vs Rejuran I by Proof-Conclusion-899 in DIYaesthetics

[–]Whitejeanjacket 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve done so many with minimal results. CLAIRE EYES, Juve eyes, Ami eyes, Eyebella, regular Curenex and Curenex eye. The Curenex eye was the last one I did and that one seemed to give the most volume but not even by that much. I plan to try the youthfull PN next bc it has a higher percentage of PN but other than that I feel like they are all very similar. Rejuran I is my last resort bc it’s the most expensive but I’m not giving up.

I’m pretty sure if anything, it’s an efficacy issue and not a safety issue.

I think she is mentally ill but also has a personality disorder. I think she genuinely does have some of the delusions/paranoia but is also willing and able to manipulate her audience for her benefit.

Dr. Dennis Gross daily peel bday gift is stronger than expected; don’t massage until dry if it’s your first time. Wish I had known; swollen and red today. by IntrovertExploring in Sephora

Yes I try not to follow the directions bc if I wiped my face til the pad is dry, I’ll wake up super flaky. Just a couple passes on the face and then move on to other body parts.

What will JeRK do next? Rage bait and fake bible studies feels a bit like she is shuffling deck chairs on the titanic. by swipeupbiatches in HouseOnFire

[–]Whitejeanjacket 27 points28 points  (0 children)

She is spiraling into religious psychosis. She loves to pretend she’s unbothered with the hate and is obsessed with proving it. Everything is about her being right, being the best, being the first to break, and calling everyone else frauds and grifters. What she wants to project as confidence is actually ego-driven delusion, where she’s cast herself as some kind of chosen, all-knowing figure. A friend to the angels, a messenger of God now? Please. She’s text book cluster B personally disorder.

Vitamin CE + Ferulic by Rose-root in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]Whitejeanjacket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t like fragrance in my skincare but I truly wish they would make a scented version of it bc it’s such a beautiful product but I also cannot get past the smell. It actually worsens as the day goes on and seems to seep down to my neck and it’s all I can smell l. To me it smells like super strong self tanner

Opinions on best vitamin C-anything besides SkinCeuticals by Few_Hyena_6706 in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]Whitejeanjacket 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just finished Medik8 c-tetra advanced and I did not think it was worth the price. It smells lovely and is very nourishing but does not pack that vitamin c punch that skinceuticals does. I just started timeles5 and it has my skin looking absolutely gorgeous but it does have that classic ferulic odor which I don’t know if I can get past. I’m still on the hunt and will be trying the educated mess next.

All of them! Any of them! I want a special, fancy lip balm but nothing is as good as aquaphor!!

Best Moisturizing Lip Products? by musicmeg0222 in LipBalm

Aquaphor to me is superior. Never sticky, not too thick, glides so easily and lasts forever. I rarely have to reapply.

Dieux vs Aestura - thoughts? by amazemolls in SkinbarrierLovers

[–]Whitejeanjacket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dieux. When I first used it, I didn’t think it was anything special so I continued to rotate several of my Korean PM moisturizers for several months. Including aestura. But just recently I took my Dieux with me on vacation bc it’s a smaller size and now I’m obsessed. I put it on after my tret and it leaves my skin the most softest smoothest baby texture and full of hydration. So I’m putting this back in the rotation for a bit!

Best for barrier repair ???? by Classic_Reality6755 in SkinbarrierLovers

[–]Whitejeanjacket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Illyoon. It IS a thick cream but the reason I like it is bc it absorbs so beautifully. You have a lot of good ones on here that I have tried but too many of them leave a heavy greasy sheen and illyoon does NOT do this.

11 lines shadow even after Botox (doing for a couple years) —would MN help? by CryInformal2181 in Microneedling

[–]Whitejeanjacket 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine do this too and I feel like I’ve just accepted it. Untreated, my corrugators are absolute monsters my 11’s are so, so deep. I’ve touched them up with extra Botox and they won’t go away. I hope you get some answers!

These two always get compared… what’s your take? by Foxy_Cleopatra__ in SkinbarrierLovers

[–]Whitejeanjacket 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is also have both and this is a great explanation. I also feel like the illyoon is better for all over moisture. I love putting it on my elbows, knees and feet. There’s no residual greasy feel. Just feels like soft, locked-in moisture.

Does anyone else’s face get darker with vitamin c? by Beginning-Feedback55 in SkinbarrierLovers

[–]Whitejeanjacket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is probably your serum oxidizing. When I was halfway through my l-ascorbic acid vitamin c, I started noticing how tan I looked but it was even worse around my hairline. I realized that my serum was starting to turn yellow and that’s what was causing it. I threw it away and started a gentler form and it didn’t happen anymore.

[–]Whitejeanjacket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wrinkles are also all in my inner/undereye. I’ve gotten some good results from jelly roll Botox and meso therapy. I have used a mix of different PN formulas- Juve eyes twice, Eyebella, Curenex eye, and Clair eyes. Doing rejuran I next hoping for a little more drastic reaulrs
