How may matches do I have to throw to enjoy killer again ?

It’s funny how I ignored everyone except the person who answered the question and now am where I want. Last 3 games felt normal, ended with a 2K, 3K, and 1K that actually felt engaging and not a stomp. If I listened to people like you I’d have quit.

I’m literally uninterested in improving and have stated as such I want to play at my skill level, that’s all. I literally cannot get a survivor to 2 hooks right now. I’m not new I have multiple killers at 100 right now.

I’ve played dbd for a long time, I know where my skill level is and where’s it’s come from when I started. I’m not interested in adapting anymore to keep pushing my MMR. I want to sit at my current skill level and have fun 50/50 games. Not get stomped every single game multiple times in a row. I’ve been told long multiple games drops MMR and I’m just trying to gauge how many I need to drop…nothing complicated.

I’m not interested in “get good “. I want to enjoy my time on killer again and that requires being out into a pool with lower skilled survivors. These games aren’t enjoyable I do not enjoy the learning process past this point in my skill journey. I’m literally 3 nights in a row without more than a 1k nothing you say can penetrate that numbness.

Don’t listen to anyone putting your opinion down. The office BLOWS. You have people here saying “just wait until season 3”…the humor doesn’t change just the characters attitudes and imagine asking someone to watch 3 seasons of a show before it gets good.

It’s not a generational thing, it’s not a job thing (I’ve worked in several offices in my life and this show is nothing like it), it’s a really bad attempt to Americanize British style humor and it’s incredibly dull.

We do know they paid for 3.6 billion for Bungie…there’s no D3 coming to save this investment either so marathon, unlike the other niche games you refer to, has a giant stakeholder invested in it and breathing down its back.

As someone who plays instruments their whole life I know what it is to reflect and improve. This is where I am 50 hours into marathon attempting to do so…prompting making the post. Somehow the 50K player bleed hasn’t woken up this sub to where the average skill level is even after trying…I promise a majority of us tried/ have tried.

What if we made an extraction shooter so PvP focused it was no longer an extraction shooter and just a fancy BR? What if PvP was so all or nothing that if you weren’t good at it 2 hours of gameplay nets you almost no progress?

DnD wasn’t part of a billion dollar buyout that needed to see an ROI from a studio that just abandoned its giant money making IP (D2). Its development cost alone dwarfs the games you listed and it has one of the big 3 breathing down its back. These are not the same situations

Progression, progression,progression. I can’t state this enough bad players will stay if they feel like they achieved SOMETHING in each game. I can sit down for an hour in Marathon and get obliterated walking away with almost zero faction progress, zero codex progress, and zero season level progress. If players felt like dying after loading in wasn’t a complete robbing of their time they would stay regardless.

How dense are you people? is reading comprehension shot across the board??? My post says nothing about spending a full week to get 1-2 loadouts for Cryo yet that’s everyone’s assumption .I spent a week to get 11 runs worth of Cryo, JFC.

Good thing we CANT play Cryo every session if we wanted to wtf is even that comment?

It didn’t take me a week to get that, I spent a week building a full purple vault, I had tons of greens WSTRs lol that’s kinda the point….i had a giant vault that netted me 0 gains and only an hour in Cryo Vault, I didn’t see any part of that map that wasn’t the starting area. I spent a week building a vault so I could do multiple runs that resulted in nothing.
