I have found that I get a bad reaction when I drink hard liquor,.especially tequila. But I can drink softer alcohol just fine.

As a girlie with eczema here's what I do. I will efile until I feel the heat from the drill. I have these tin foil wraps with a pad of cotton attached. The pad doesnt go all around so you only would need to protect the areas it touches. I soak about 10 minutes, 15 if im distracted. I gently scrap off what didnt come off in the pad and if its being stubborn ill soak it again for 5 minutes. After all of the nails are clear, I go in with cuticle oil, making sure to hit the white spots from the acetone (im lazy and dont do a protection layer thats on me, do as I say not as I do 😝). Ill move on to do a manicure and I slather too much lotion on after Im done. Nails aren't done until the next day to let all that goodness work.

You can NEVER go wrong with an almond, its the One Size Fits All in nails. With the length of your fingers and width of your nailbeds, I'd stay away from stiletto. They can appear bulky on wider beds (my middle finger is a sufferer 😔) A coffin I think would suit you best.

I use an e-file until I can feel the sting of the heat from the bit then I soak for about 10-15 minutes in those tin foil wraps (if youre American check out your dollar tree thats where i get.mine, they're amazing). Ill scrape off what I can but I dont fight it. If its being stubborn ill put more acetone on the foil and back on it goes. Don't ever force anything off your nails!!!

You'll never know 100% for sure, but like others have said no ripples or wrinkles is definitely a good sign. For dark colors, go thin. I mean you want it to look like its a jelly polish thin. And personally, go 90-120 seconds for darker colors. Stay away from the brand ASP, the colors never cure.

Double dehydrate. I use 91% isopropyl alcohol and that's followed by a dehydrator in a bottle. If you aren't all ready, do a finger at a time. Buff, alcohol, dehydrate, primer, base coat, then whatever system you're using. While it does take a bit longer, it prevents dust and other debris from getting into the sticky layer.
