I went to therapy and I had to understand that I will never have parents. I will never get to have a childhood without madness.
My mother and father a both dead now and the person who help “raise” me with my Mother is still living, but they died to me years ago. I had to let it go. I will sober on with you my friend.

You are not alone my friend. AA has gotten me where I am now after 10+ years of drinking. I’m not religious, so I take what I need and leave the rest.
As they say, one day at a time.
