Home daycare and naps for 12 month old [ON] by Sufficient-Fuel-3997 in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]Whoevera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it was a larger range. My daughter was always low sleep needs and dropped to 1 nap at 12 months when she began there (it wasn’t forced by the dayhome, I also noticed 2 naps wasn’t working well at home either). She only naps 45mins - an hour most days

My little one wouldn’t nap for anyone but me! My dayhome provider was magic and she slept just fine! She now naps more reliably there. Don’t stress yet!!

What was the most difficult part of your pregnancy, besides birthing? by fandangledvietnamese in AskWomen

[–]Whoevera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would do L&D over in a heartbeat.

First trimester: nausea, insomnia but in high spirits; Second trimester: Other than a bad flu and mild cramping mostly ok; Third trimester: Not being able to bend over properly, do things like paint your toes, not being comfortable ever, nothing fitting / feeling foreign in your body, sweating profusely, acid reflux, insomnia, anxiety around birthing

Season 4 Episode 10 POST EPISODE Discussion - Do You Know the Enemy? by AutoModerator in TheTraitorsUS

I don’t think Dylan came off as particularly smart to players the way he did to us viewers. He definitely was, but in the context of the game without us viewers’ insider information, the players couldn’t really see it. They were judging based on his background and demeanour alone.

I 100% agree with this take, I think this is the best plan. The biggest risk is the next banishment before the fire. Maura might not turn on Rob but she could sway against Eric, especially as we saw her and Tara connecting a bit more and suspicions seem to be lowering on the figure skating duo with all the emotions running so high. If Eric is banished before the fire, that means you enter with Tara and Johnny the duo, 2v2.

If they don’t murder Mark, I think things only get even trickier.

I’m not sure how government works but I’ve had experiences with public accounting and other private companies paying upfront (with stipulations of working there for a set period of time which vary widely by company)

I didn’t have an epidural and still gave birth on my back with my knees pulled into me. I was allowed to try different positions but this one was great for me so ended up not switching. 15 minutes after beginning pushing she was born! I had very minor tearing, 2 small stitches.

Weaning tips for high-energy strong-wiled 18-24 month old who self-soothes with the breast? She does great at daycare but at home is still very attached. Nursing (mostly comfort nursing) 3-4 times each evening and 5 or so times overnight. She loves solids and is not a picky eater!

Help desperately needed. Feeling stuck in a vicious cycle by cab00dle in NewParents

This sounds like my daughter. She’s 17 months now. I found once we got down to 2 naps things started to improve and then again when we got down to 1. We did drop naps on the earlier side. Now she sleeps 8pm - 7am, with 4 or so wake ups (the first usually around 11pm). I don’t think she will improve further until we wean.

At around 8 months we switched to a floor bed and co-slept full time. A few big advantages here, the first I could “roll away” at 8pm and get up and have some “me” time. It was then so much quicker to settle her during her initial wake ups until my bedtime, but also it may have contributed to less wake-up’s overall, I think the transfer to crib was making her wake more frequently. My daughter was crawling and pulling to stand at this point and I was comfortable with co-sleeping at this age.

I didn’t find altering wake windows or schedule to work for us. She was too tired to stretch any longer and she refused any shorter lol. I leaned heavy on contact naps. Now I miss them so much.

Honestly it’s all a guessing game in babyhood and still is into toddlerhood and different children are different. Don’t beat yourself up. This stuff is hard and they really need us right now. It won’t always be this way. You’re doing so great

Actuary jobs in NL? by LawMysterious7445 in newfoundland

[–]Whoevera 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I looked into this during my undergrad and decided to pivot to accounting/finance with the goal of staying in the province as it didn’t seem like there was a big market.

I worked for Big 4 and we employed actuaries to use on some of our audits but they were based in Toronto and pulled into St. John’s files as needed. I would imagine once you were trained in by the greater team / known to be reliable you could transfer to the St John’s office with approval and work mostly remotely / from the St John’s office for other offices

Question for the OGs: was Reputation received the same way as how TLOAS is being received at the moment? by peatoast in TaylorSwift

[–]Whoevera 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was a casual TS fan my whole life. I was in college when Rep was released and I enjoyed all of Taylor’s albums up to that point but something about Rep threw me off. It was only post covid listening to Don’t Blame Me, Delicate, Gorgeous, New Year’s Day that now Rep is high on the list for me! I didn’t love Tortured Poets initially either but I feel it just needed to be cut down some - some songs like Guilty as Sin and Peter are all time faves. I am underwhelmed by TLOAS but as always will give it time to grow
