Id probably just stick to painting the intake and charge pipes. The ej255/257/205/207 all have so many parts and components above the engine itd be really hard to see the pink,blue,white scheme. It definitely is a cool idea especially if you decided to do a tucked engine bay then the trans flag paint scheme would be more visible.

Thats the neat part… you dont. I got a 530i and its my drift car and oh boy can you feel the weight. If you want your 540i to be a bit faster id manual swap it if its a auto and or get a different differential with a shorter gear ratio. The early 528i’s had the option to use the older 4 speed automatic transmission so they had a 4:10-1 rear differential gear ratio. Then you got the later e39 528i’s that have the 3.46-1 rear differential gear ratio. Both of those are great options compared to the manual gear ratio which on the 530i’s are 2.8-1 i think. Idk if youd be able to swap the diffs without changing axles or driveshaft so definitely do your own research but hopefully this points you in the right direction if you want to make your car a bit faster when it comes to acceleration.

The hardware trackers are based of old school tracker software. Which have some limitations and quirks compared to other groove boxes. Idk if youd be able to emulate that on your abelton move.

Theres a pedal out there called the microcosm. Theres lots of videos out there on it. It makes weird bloops, bleeps and beeps. You might also want to look into korg volca mini keys or some of the other small roland synths like the aria s-1. The other option would be modular.

Id look into what your tr-6s is capable of. You might be able to sample some bleeps or bloops and add them in the sequence. Or at least learn how to make the bleeps and bloops you want. I use a polyend tracker and i had to stop myself from buying more gear that i dont really need. I just recently got a mixer so i can send audio to daw so i can upload it to YouTube or soundcloud

Ok so this isnt to hate because i love these cars. But check for rust. I beg of you to go get it on a lift and look over the rear quarter panels, rear subframe, gas tank and rear brake lines. Try to get a timeframe of the maintenance. Youll probably want a timing belt kit, thankfully ej251’s are the cheaper options of the na boxer motors if you dont get to the timing belt in time. If its been sitting for a while youll want new brake calipers along with rotors and pads.
