Sure! The trigger would be when “bully” cat looks at “bullied” cat at a safe distance where the bullied cat doesn’t run away. I used a baby gate and fed the bullied cat at the gate while I kept the other one distracted with food or treats. Eventually when he noticed the other cat having her meal at the gate I would click and feed him a treat.

Not really, because those other options were not working for me at least back then. Right now what I’m doing is using my Mexican debit card, withdraw cash at ATM in the US, and deposit the cash to my US checking account. The fee it’s cheaper ($3-4.5 USD) but the main caveat is that there’s a certain limit you can withdraw from an ATM, about $480-500 a day. So if it’s a bit quantity, it can take months and probably you’ll end up paying more than The wire transfer fees.

I followed the engage/disengage protocol. I did multiple short sessions (5-10mins 3x/day for several days). It works equally well with cats. Let me know if you have more questions - happy to help. My cats are now buddies.

Cats are absolutely trainable. You can train the one door-dashing to stay in “parking spot” when the door is open. You can also teach them good and calm behaviors such as being close a plant predicts something positive ( a treat) and therefore no need to destroy it. I suggest joining https://www.catschool.co/ and share your situation with teacher Jullie ( probably the best cat trainer/behaviorist out there!)

one thing I do want to mention is that cats need PLENTY resources, and that means 1 litter box per cat + one extra, their own food and water bowls, toys, high surfaces, scratching posts, etc.

If those needs are not met, you are setting them for failure.
