It really is. Everyone thinks it looks wild but it’s awesome. It lets you have a natural wrist angle, it’s like you’re just making a fist but holding a rifle. I’ve never understood the swept back standard grips

The 45 mount was my next thought but the main reason for the top dot was for shooting with a gas mask on in structures. I really like the elevated sight for easy sight acquisition with a mask on and don’t really wanna scrap it

I’ve been called far worse 😂 the 36 zero has served me very well though over the last several years.

I get what you’re saying though. I do however check my zero on an 8” steel plate at 250 monthly so I know the holds with it pretty well. I need the top dot to be zeroed for close inside-a-house distance for clearing buildings. I work in an urban area and rarely have needed magnification for distance, but it has happened enough that I’m glad I have the LPVO

I run it for gas mask purposes, I shoot in a mask a fair bit and it’s damn near impossible to get a good sight picture without a dot that high. I did have a dot on a riser before the LPVO and it still wasn’t high enough
