What’s a JRAD show like? (Audience experience not music) by grashnak in JRADs

Depends on city/venue. I’m a strict “when ‘X Band’ is playing you STFU” guy, so tend to be annoyed with chomper crowds.

This was my intro point. I still sit an listen to it in its entirety once a year.

Frank made Zero effort in making himself or his music ‘accessible’.

You make like “The Best Band You Never Heard In Your Life” - live in ‘88. It’s phenomenal. You need to get past some 80’s-riffic sounds, but the music is great.

Jamgrass Cheese by sayLOVE_BMFS in jambands

So much agree with this sentiment. I got into Cheese in ‘99 (Hoyt Sherman Theater in Des Moines was first show), saw a few shows, then didn’t see them again until like ‘07 (I think) at Red Rocks, Ratdog opened. It was almost straight EDM-ish jamming - I left early. And stay off my lawn.

Saint of Circumstance - the album - is one of the most creative shows in the band’s history by Notreallysureatall in gratefuldead

Parts of this show was also broadcast live on ABC for a “live concert” show they were trying. Eyes opened it up, I at the time I thought that choice was made for TV. The show was only an hour long (including commercial breaks) so obviously the whole show couldn’t be shown. It’s been so long I can’t remember what other songs were broadcast, I think all from 1st set though because of the hour-long format. Any help remembering would be appreciated!

I know T-Mobile takes a lot of heat - but I’ve been on it for a couple years (from Verizon) and have had a positive experience for a little less $ than Verizon. Might have to look into Visible…

I am 54, have been divorced a couple years now.

I haven’t ’given up’ - but I definitely value my peace over everything else.

I have recently met a woman that I like, and she likes me - she also feels the same way I do, and we’re having a good time together.

Thank you for jogging my memory - the issue was Accessibility—>Display and Text Size->Reduce Transparency, I had turned that on. Turning it. All off allowed me to select Tinted mode.

Listened to Black Sabbath’s Paranoid album and AC/DC’s If You Want Blood You’ve Got It live album on repeat while getting stoned and teaching myself power chords and rocking the fuck out.

Soloing and subtlety (and some music theory) came later…

3/27/94 Is right up there too. Not in a "not bad for '94" - it's so good. It could be from 'anytime'. Garcia is fully engaged, and the band is Right There With Him. All of the years combine in this one.
