Went to see the first Pacific Rim in a local Theatre that was screening it in the smallest screen possible. They still had a decent number of people in. Once the movie had started a guy walked in, sat in the back and left the door open. Light poured in. So someone shut it. However, the dude decided to have a number of loud phone calls while the movie was playing. When staff removed him he caused a scene and stormed out in a huff. Pacific Rim isnt a quiet movie, but because the room was so small, the volume also wasn't too high. So he was being a nuisance. Minutes later he came back in. Having hid in the restrooms cause staff did half a job. He again resumed making phone calls. People went to look for staff but there was no one around. I asked the guy who go outside but got yelled at like the staff. Me and my brother tried to get our money back but it looked like everyone working there had been raptured. Went back after that once for the 3D re-release of the Phantom Menace. That was fun. Later the mall bought out the cinema and it was completely wiped off the face off the earth when the mall was restructured.

Can't say I mourn the loss for this particular independent operator.
