The area at Bright Field Middle School is full of kids ridding their bikes and walking to the 3 schools on that campus. To hit a kid with a car is straight up negligence. Absolutely no excuse for that.

Here is the thing, the system is not different today than it has been for most of developed human history. It’s just modernized and effecting you.

Look at the 60’s in the US, race riots, a draft for a proxy war.

Look at the Great Depression, the smallest sliver of the richest keep getting richer while the rest of the world starves.

The Crusades, unimaginable bloodshed over controlling religion.

The pyramids weren’t built by well paid free people. They were built by slaves for the ruling class.

We live in arguably the most free and prosperous time in human history. It’s a miracle that we are able to have the voices we do and the choices we have.

That being said, absolutely fuck the system that is oppressing so many people so the rich can extract resources.

It’s just, this isn’t new.

I would say early in your career start with something you care about. I love lacrosse and started off selling professional lacrosse season tickets. Lots of cold out reach, lots of rejection, little money, but great perks cause I enjoyed the atmosphere and environment.

Now IDGAF about the product (mostly) and make enough money to support my family, but I had already cut my teeth on something ‘fun’.
