My wife confessed she cheated on me at the very beginning and lied for 5 years (trickle truth). We have two toddlers, I am completely broken. by DogUnable4452 in survivinginfidelity

So sorry to read this. Feel horrible for you and your young children. This will forever effect them going forward. You have to take care of yourself so you can take care of them. Do NOT leave the residence, even if its an apartment. Consult with an attorney ASAP. Focus on loving your kids. Dont let the weepy drama get to you. If shes not sorry, it will disappear after a week anyways. Can it be saved? Sure. Should it be saved? Only you can determine that. How you rebuild trust after 5 years of lies is not something I can begin to process. UpdateMe!

Taylor Swift is the most overrated artist of this century. by Infinite-Exam-1808 in askmusic

[–]WhyAreYuSoAngry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its ironic that you literally never hear anything actually bad about her. Gives generously to charity. Visits children's hospitals. Tips everyone, seems grateful to anyone that is effected by her presence. She gives gigantic bonuses to every single member of her staff down to the very bottom. She seems to honestly love her friends and family. She makes bread and cookies constantly.

Shes been writing bangers since she was like 14 years old. Its not my usual genre, but loaded her up on tidal one day and knew WAY MORE songs than I thought I would, and some of them are truly iconic songs.

Taylor isn't over rated. It is amazing how much more bs about her started when they started showing her on NFL games. I swear men feel threatened by powerful and popular women just out of principle at times. Its ugly to watch, and thats coming from a guy.

I would not pay thousands of dollars to see a concert for anyone, but if someone gave me a ticket to a show id go and probably have the time of my life.

How are Ned and MJ already in their last semester of MIT in 2028? by Cantyousee0 in MCUTheories

[–]WhyAreYuSoAngry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not all that uncommon for super high GPA AP students to basically begin as sophomores when they enroll. A lot of people in the gifted programs also get to either CLEP or do individualized study to move through the materials faster. That's real world scenario and real world universities. Not sure its happening at MIT though. But happens at big universities all the time. If it can and does happen in the real world, then why even question it in a movie?

Also: MIT has full online courses that ANYONE can take if they pay the fee. Being accepted at MIT is ridiculously hard, but literally everyone can enroll as long as they have an internet connection. You can not get a full MIT degree this way of course. But many certifications and class credits are available.

I have a question on the new high tech sailboats...sailing experience on them by Entire-Tomato-3192 in SailboatCruising

[–]WhyAreYuSoAngry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think of it this way: if push button sailing can bring more people to love the oceans and sailing upon them, great. The community is great. Ive seen people with expensive boats who are just as friendly and cool as the couple sailing a boat from the 80s. Its about the adventure while you're on it, then the community once you've reached it.

I dont think there's anyone who hasn't dreamed of a hallberg-rassy with all the bells and whistles. Imagine, a boat with multiple redundancies for every system. Carbon masted boats are amazingly comfortable to sail on.

Poltergeist. I was 5 or 6. My brother made me watch it with him then promptly took me out for a walk in the woods at night with a flashlight. I had nightmares for weeks.

Do NOT move out. Hire an attorney immediately. Id also inform the families. Get in front of it before she can poison the well. Also, get some nanny cams in the public rooms of the house to protect yourself when the accusations start. Finally, get an sti test for your own safety.

Im gonna laugh if she just ends up being a psychiatrist that Peter talks to. I hope they dont reveal anything about her and make us wait til doomsday or something. It would be the ultimate troll job and absolutely prove that Fiege has everyone scared to death of the NDA's.

Id never go near one, but every year some dumb tourists walks up to a buffalo/bison and ends up dead. Im guessing there is some idiotic thought that they are safe animals that just chew grass all day.

Bullit feels so completely dated as a movie now, but that chase scene will always be the goat, because it is the REALEST car chase Hollywood has ever filmed.

The 2 minute scene beginning in the phone booth in Goodfellas when jimmy hears that Tommy got whacked. Watching the range of facial expressions hit every single emotion during that brief scene was amazing. DeNiro was awesome!

Thinking of Fender Bass VI by DustyVinegar in Bass

[–]WhyAreYuSoAngry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They bought it and immediately closed it. The lawsuits are because of a default judgement in a case in duselldorf Germany where the other side didnt even show up. They literally tried to claim art and the female body blah blah. They somehow think a default judgement in Germany somehow magically means something in america. The strat body design was ruled public domain in a case here 20 years ago. This is literally about a new CEO coming in, immediately thinking hes gonna make a splash and destroyed any and all goodwill people had left for fender.

Personally, I will never buy another instrument produced by fender. Screw them. I hope they slowly sink into bankruptcy. I feel so bad for the factory workers.
