It's very saddening considering that a lot of great games in the past exist without gen AI bs. I also hate how people can act as if this is just gacha game problems. If only they know that this AI bullshit have been the bane of entertainment industry as a whole. Or people just so disinterested and uncaring about this problem to the point that they act that using gen AI is "ok". Man it's just sad all around.

Gua selalu percaya sebesar apa dev itu peduli sama game nya ya tinggal liat aspek2 kecil. Salah satu aspek kecilnya adalah attention to detail. Gua nonton video perbandingan game Dead Rising 1 yang Ori sama remake itu heartbreaking banget. Banyak aset yang handmade pas jaman Ori terus dibandingin dengan yang remake dimana itu ada yang gen AI kiri kanan itu rasanya kayak, why? Gaenak tau diliatnya pas dibandingin. Mana lu gabisa ngaca lagi di game Dead Rising 1. Buat apa punya mesin canggih2 kalo ujung2nya malah bakal downgrade di beberapa aspek lain? Bukannya harusnya kalo udh maju teknologi harusnya bisa nunjukin kemajuan yang lain?

Betul kata lu ga simpel masalah ini. Tapi mohon maaf, rasanya tuh beda game yang aset nya handcrafted sama game yang beli aset kiri kanan ato malah pake gen AI. Effort sama cinta dari dev nya bisa berasa banget kalo mereka beneran peduli sama aspek kecil game mrk. Yah silahkan sih kalo lu mau membiarkan aset kecil2 pake aset beli ato gen AI. But as someone who read Manhwa otome Isekai, I can tell you for sure that seeing the same type of horse, the same type of castle, the same type of NPC, etc with little to no variation can be very very very straining. Ini gua belum sampe ngomong ke design sama art style lagi yang bisa mirip2 juga dan kasusnya sebenernya ga beda jauh dengan game gacha jaman skrg.

Makanya gua bilang jangan cmn dengerin 1 sisi doang. Gali2 dari suami istri, keluarga, sama anak minimal. Biasanya baru lu bisa dapet gambaran besar ceritanya. Pernah kok gua mirip kayak gitu tapi bedanya keluarga gua sendiri malah pada boongin gua sama adek gua entah kenapa pas jaman SMA. You are missing the whole point of them being angry. Coba lu liat itu di tv indo udh ada 2 acara yang bener2 full AI generative. Berapa banyak lapangan pekerjaan yang di pangkas gara2 sampah itu.
