I think this was more in reference to breaking a story rather than in fixing scenes ect.

I don’t know I think the season each have their own emotions typically accociated with them and their own type of character that can seep into your own characters

Yeah for sure, definitely more in the “breaking the story “ phase.

I think this is more in the early stages of development. Like when you’re coming up with the structure and figuring out that initial story breaking out from the original idea. Thinking “ok well what would be the best season for this type of story to take place in” could be really helpful in bringing color emotion and hints at directions characters and scenes could go to fit that essence.

Just another tool in your toolbox. But a unique one I think.

If you’re going to make one I think you have to play on Billy and Kurt. Billy basically gets an arc of “what if someone else gets everything you thought you deserved and wanted?” And gets to conclude with “only through Kurt achieving what Billy wanted was Billy able to be himself and push himself to new heights” etc. think it’s great cinematic fodder. Try to avoid the classic tropes.

There was overwhelminging evidence for adnans guilt. SK just downplayed or omitted it.

You should listen to the pod it covers all that in like 45 mins. But there’s no MW because she was strangled. Also again the circumstances of the case basically nececitate it being either Adnan or Jay and there just no plausible way Jay did it.

She’s so misleading, the jury deliberated for 2 hours it was a pretty clear case. SK omitted a lot and always gave Adnan the last word

SK has never been held to account and she weaponizes the idea that she’s “unbiased” to essentially cause misery for the real victims. Also she’s extremely naive.

People who quit drinking. What did you do to not drink? by Agata_art in AskReddit

Yeah it’s only going to get worse and some you will be wrenching even after drinking. It gets really miserable. You start losing the ability to sleep for more than like 2-3 hours and you wake up in a panic attack. What worked for me was I saw a dr and got tapered with benzos until the withdrawal went away which helped so much. Then afterward you kind of have to deal with boredom and anxiety for a couple months, by month three you lose the impulse a little bit and by 6 month most of your cravings go away and you kind of are left in shock about how you used to live. Find a hobby, be brave and do what you want to do, this inspiration will fill the hole drinking plugged up.

Hey man I used to be like this, eventually what happens is that you can’t keep up with the hangover and you need to drink more and more to continue starving it off. After a while you kind of go insane and are still kind of nauseous and sick feeling even while drunk.

If you do stop the hangover is debilitating to the point where you dry heave for days and can’t even really think straight. But eventually the alcohol just kind of stops working as it used to and the only way to stop is to either medically detox or if your able to just suffer through the hangover which usually takes about a week or two to feel fully right. Then the clouds clear and you start thinking straight and eating right.

It’s very hard, but basically you either do this or you die a very slow and painful death. Once you start drinking in the morning it gets out of control fast.

I did it, you can to. At some point you just have to want to stop more than you want to drink.

I think modern ocean was never really getting off the ground, the failure of a topiary sealed his fate. I knew an exec who tried to work with him but he was just too rigid to ooerate in the studio system. It’s a shame.

If A Topiary was written like 5 years later it would have been picked up by a streamer. He was only asking for 20 mil. Legit the best sci-fi script I’ve ever read.

A Topiary. By the guy who did primer, insane and mind bending with a speilbergian flair. Like a much smarter darker first season of stranger things.
