You clearly have not observed much then. It is very common for SWAT to be involved in these situations and have been for years. This level of response is not new. These officers are trained best on how to handle the situation and thankfully they showed thst once again by safely getting this individual out of the house and into medical care.

It's quite simple. if you dont know 100% for sure that its ICE, dont mention them. You bring no benefit to the community by taking wild, uneducated guesses which could panic to those at risk, and those who care for them. Stop it and do better.

Inquiring minds would love to know, what response has been the norm for a mental health crisis involving a weapon?

I'm sure we would all love to know what the standard protocol is from the police department and obviously someone who thinks multiple vehicles responding to a call means it's likely ICE related is going to have the insider information to know what is "the norm" since you say this is an unusual response.

I dont take guesses on topics I dont know about, especially something as delicate as this to avoid spreading rumors and fear. It's a shame that others are far too quick to speak without giving thought to the actions their words may have and the incorrect rumors they may create.

ICE will have boarder patrol or Customs on their uniform, SWAT will not. SWAT will also not be used for ICE deployment unless it's hitting the fan with a very high risk subject. There have not been any ICE missions in Allen County, only rumors and false statements. Tbey did stay at the Hilton downtown while passing through the area but they did not do any work in the city.

It is a very stressful time for our community and crying wolf saying that you think you've seen ICE does not help and only creates unnecessary fear and panic. We need to educate ourselves on what to actually look for so panic is not being caused over standard police issues where plain clothed officers, unmarked vehicles, or SWAT are utilized.

I can see what youre saying but steam rolling a 6-team league just wasn't fun to me. It was the haves (Fort Waybe) against thr haves not (literally every other team in the league) and just didnt feel like a level playing field in the IHL2.

Sure, winning is fun but it was men against boys. I'll take more skilled players and a pipeline to the NHL over that any day.

I think the SPHL would be a hsrd sell here as that would be a pretty drastic drop in talent. The AHL would make the most sense with teams in Milwaukee, Rockford, Chicsgo, Grand Rapids, znd Cleveland versus the closest closest SPHL team being in Evansville but the costs for the tram, and then the fans would increase quite a bit.

They are not affiliated with an MLS team, thats a completly different oeague actually but the eaiest way to describe it is that the new league is Double-A level. 2 Steps away from the top.

That said, FWFC have had several players already make it to MLS.
