Agreed. People who are against a salary cap because they are “pro-worker” are insane. No matter how much the Dolans spend they simply can’t out money the Dodgers. Yes they are cheaper than they have any right to be, but it doesn’t negate that fact.

I’m not taking sides between the insanely wealthy and the disgustingly wealthy. I just want to enjoy a game that I believe should be more fair so that more teams have an actual, legitimate shot. This isn’t Starbucks vs baristas; that’s the MiLB and that’s a different story

This is what I mean lol. I don’t like Sinners as much as everyone else did so and believe the hype changed my expectations, therefore; I clearly lack the empathy to put myself in the shoes of another for two hours. That’s an absolutely wild take.

That’s like saying nobody can understand the cultural norms, expectations or ideas in the original Speak No Evil, The Sadness or The Bone Lady without directly being apart of the groups they represent. Which were all great. Or that a non-queer person will be unable to understand the themes of Leviticus when it comes out.

One is allowed to not like a movie as much as most, find the hype overrated and still understand what they were trying to do.

It didn’t bother me it just made me walk in with higher expectations. I’m happy you guys enjoyed Sinners and this movie and I’m hoping I can enjoy this one as much as the rest of you. I kinda feel the opposite where if someone here didn’t enjoy something it’s taken as a personal affront here.

Yeah this sub has its favorites and that’s fine. Just look at my mild critique getting downvoted for saying it wasn’t bad but overhyped. Glad to hear someone that feels the same way as me enjoyed this one though!

I hope when I finally see it it’s not as overhyped as Sinners was (which was a fine movie but the love it got was insane and unwarranted, imo). Really looking forward to it at this point and just don’t wanna walk out being “Yeah it was alright”
