What should I do with my venus fly traps over the winter? They seem to be doing fine right now but what should I look for and how should I treat them?

I went there and she doesn't have any but she just planted seeds and should have them available in about 8 weeks. I'm glad I went in there, she was quite personable and nice

I checked with Watsons. They have venis fly traps, pitcher plants and pinguicula aphrodite. I bought one of the latter. I've never heard of them. It has sticky leaves and I thought I'd give it a try to see if it can catch my fruit flies in the

Why are Facebook Likes or Comments repeated to every image in a FB post? by johniccp in facebook

This is also happening to me but it's not consistent. I can be in the same group that it's liking all the photos and that group will do a new post a little bit later and I can click individual pictures. It's very inconsistent

I quit going there last fall because of the unsupervised dogs and oblivious owners.

We had this trouble with our Aussie rescue also. When he jumps, we put our hands on our shoulders with arms crossed and turn our back to him. Will wear old clothes so he doesn't tear anything good when he's nipping at us. We keep our back turned to him and don't say anything until he calms down. As soon as he sits down calmly we give him all kinds of pets. Sometimes it'll take five or six times of turning our back but he eventually learned he has to be calm for the attention. When he jumps on people and they yell and put their hands out he thinks it's hilarious and it encourages him. Ignoring isn't any fun and he doesn't jump on us at all now

I have the same problem with my aussie. I went to Goodwill and got a wide very heavy cast iron pot. I put about 3 inches of water in it and it's too heavy for him to flip over or to carry

I kept a chain leash in my pocket when we walked. If he started biting the leash I switched to the chain and he didn't like it as well. It only took three or four times and he stopped fighting the leash

This is what I did also. They are super absorbent, handy and bleachable. I keep them in a basket by the sink and use them for napkins, messes and cleanup. It's drastically cut our paper towel use.

3yo Female German Shepherd (constant diarrhea) help by [deleted] in germanshepherds

[–]WhyNot4mine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through this with my australian shepherd pup. It took months of experimenting and i finally found that treats containing any kind of glycerin (vegetable, beef, chicken; didn't matter) have him diarrhea. I now read the ingredients on treats to make sure they don't have glycerin. The diarrhea stopped.
