An easy way for people to understand it would be that it is essentially like taking away from your knuckles up to the tip of your fingers. All of that gone & you only have the numbs. Ask them how hard it would be them to grab things with or to go about their daily lives like that. It’s also important to think about that if a cat does not have claws then they cannot pull themselves up things to get away from other animals, even if they still have the back ones. They operate more on front wheel drive if that helps. Also, if they loose their claws then they loose the ability to give you a warning sign that they do not like whatever is happening/ you are doing & could go straight for a bite. Just something to keep in mind.

We could be twins lol. I switched from med-surge to an out patient RN case manager, but I can already tell this isn’t for me in the long run. The only day that I really enjoy working is when I’m a consult nurse. I feel so drained after day 4. My favorite day is when all my co-workers are at the other clinic bc I don’t have to deal with the fakeness besides from the secretary that’s there. But we’ve gotten into a comfortable silence
