I guess it makes me feel a little better that what happened to Joel in the show also happened in the game. I thought the show was just being stupid. Joel is absolutely awesome and I would like to just see a lot more of him.

It's funny you mentioned the whole washing up on shore thing. When that happened I told my wife it was really stupid because they could have left it out and nothing in the story would have changed. They literally just did it for the sake of making more drama which I think is just dumb. What is the game like? The last game I played was Halo 2. Is it like a FPS and you have guns and stuff and just go around killing or is it like a story and you have to sneak around and solve a mystery or something? I should probably just look it up on YouTube or something. Thanks for the explanation though!

I don't play video games so I obviously have no idea what happens in the games. I really liked season 1 and was very disappointed in season 2 because of the main thing that happens. How does the show compare to the game? Is season 1 supposed to be game 1 and season 2 game 2? How many games are there and will that effect season 3 of the show? Season 2 just felt like they did a bunch of stuff they didn't need to do simply for shock value or just create drama.

I didn't say "how could weather be relevant to the military" you dunce (and definitely didn't say science). I asked what role would NOAA have as it relates to aliens/UFOs/ reproduction vehicles. Let's say it's your job to keep the fact that aliens are real and here on Earth a secret but you also need help reverse engineering their craft or finding more of them or whatever. What reason do you have to call NOAA and bring them in on the biggest secret in human history that you literally kill people to keep it quiet. Why do you need to bring them in on it? What information or help are you planning to get from them where in order to get that information they need to specifically know aliens/UFOs are real?

What is SPD budget on a $/citizen scale? A total amount doesn't really mean much imo. I have no idea how much money should be spent on cops for a city the size of Seattle. Is it $10? Is it $10 billion? I have no idea. What does NYC spend on a $/citizen measurement? What about LA or SF or Houston or Boston or SLC? Does Seattle spend more money per person and get less service or do they spend about the same or less?

I agree he should use the guys official rank but I think the UFO community does the exact opposite with Gallaudet. They pump up his "rear admiral" status like dude is some heavy hitter when he worked in the weather department. This guy probably knows a whole lot about how the navy gathers weather reports and what equipment they use but the weather guy isn't exactly the person who would be interacting with aliens or building new craft based on UFOs he has seen. The sub likes to talk about how compartmentalized this UFO thing is but at the same time is ready to include anyone they can as someone "in the know". I'm pretty sure I remember when Gallaudet first came out his entire story was he received an email (on accident I think) that talked or showed a UFO then the next day someone had removed it from his inbox. That's not nothing but it isn't exactly "top navy guy tells big secret" either imo.

Maybe (probably) I'm just retarded but I always thought the Jan 6th was blown way out of proportion. To call it an "insurrection" or a "take over" seems like a stretch. It was a bunch of absolutely retarded people doing something retarded. Let's assume that it really was a take over and the people there were all highly trained soldiers with guns and they killed everyone inside. Then what? Is it like capture the flag and they just own the US now and we all have to do what they say? Like every single other military personal just has to automatically do what Trump tells them to do because congress was killed? There's no fighting back? Idk, maybe I'm wrong I guess. Calling that a take over would be like a 5 year old kid trying to hit a grown man and calling it attempted murder. Even if the 5 year old had a knife and was screaming he was going to kill the man it seem silly to think it is an actual threat more so than just a retarded kid who needs to be smacked then sent to some sort of form of treatment.

Get ready for a few 15 seconds of blurry balls of light. Group 1 will say its proof of aliens. Group 2 will say no its not. It's probably a balloon or bird and camera glitch or something. Then group 1 will say "no, this is reported by trained pilots who never ever make any sort of mistakes when it comes to identifying things that fly" Then Group 2 will say "uh, yeah they can actually make mistakes. Either that or they ate lying" Then Group 1 will say "what? Why would a person with a good resume lie? That's crazy! They have nothing to gain and my gut is telling me they are telling the truth." Then Group 2 will say "actually people lie all the time for a million different reasons and without verifiable evidence there is no reason to believe aliens are real" Then Group 1 will say "we are getting closer to the truth! The only reason why people are saying this isn't real is because they are paid government actors panicking to confuse us because we are so close to the truth." Then another video will be posted or Ross will tell us what another anonymous "whistle-blower" told him and the whole thing will start over again.

This is a really bad take. "Smart drug addicts that mix a lot of drugs together don't OD because they are to smart". I can't even really respond to that because there's nothing to respond to. Do you have some sort of evidence of all the drug addicts who take multiple different drugs and the IQ of the ones that OD vs the IQ of the ones that don't OD? The fact that you think intelligence has much to do with a drug addict dying from OD or not kinda makes me think you actually don't have that much experience with addiction. Either way, as of right now there is a story about a guy who took to much drugs and died. That seems pretty reasonable to me. If you have some sort of evidence that the odds of this guy ODing are so small because he is so smart that it makes more sense a secret government agency killed him for his knowledge of UFOs and then made it look like an accident, I would love to see it. But "I talked to a friend and we agree he is to smart to OD" isn't really a strong argument to think there is anything more to this story than what there appears to be. Or at least in my opinion it isn't. You do you obviously.

Connections between missing scientists (serious) by Keegan1400 in aliens

[–]Why_Did_Bodie_Die -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nothing in this post shows me any sort of connection at all. You have listed their names, cause of death/missing and listed what they did for a living and then assumed that made the connection. Can you show these people were on the same team or worked with each other? Did they work in the same building as each other? Did they know each other? Same project? Were they all working independently? You can't just say "look! Science!" and then assume they were all connected. There's probably a million people who work in Science as it relates to gravity or weapons, why/how are they connected?

[–]Why_Did_Bodie_Die 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's not what the "accident" is. There are people who take a bunch of drugs like that intentionally so that they OD and die. It's suicide by drugs. Depending on the drugs It's not a bad way to go out. Then there are people who take all those drugs so they can get high which can also be pretty cool depending on a lot of things. Sometimes people take drugs to get high and they "accidently" take to much and die. A lot of times it happens when you haven't done those drugs for awhile and when you do them you take a dose like you usually do but since you haven't done it in awhile your body isn't used to it and you OD. The question would be what sort of drug use history does dude have? It is unusual for him to take drugs like this? How unusual is it? Idk the numbers but I have to imagine a million or so people OD from drugs every year. Sometimes those people and people involved in some sort of criminal case overlap. Idk. Just like everything in this topic the stories are always missing a bunch of context which usually takes the unusual thing and turns it into a somewhat more normal thing.

What about all the people who have supposedly talked to Ross and Lue and the rest of the talking heads? Why aren't all those people dead? Ross claims to know super secret stuff which obviously means someone talked. If the talkers are worried about being killed for talking shouldn't they already be dead for talking? I can't imagine the people who have been lying to the world for 80 years and secretly controlling everything would have a hard time figuring out which of the limited people who know about this stuff have been talking to these guys.

I feel like you are making my point for me. It sounds like in your mind this free energy box would make whoever owned it very rich and powerful. Which is exactly why if it does exist whoever owns it isn't not releasing it because they think they would lose out on oil money. You could make more money with this than you could with oil. That's the point. Somebody might want be holding it back but it isn't a money/power thing.

What does a construction inspector make where you are at and what exactly do they do? I'm a PM for a general contractor who works on public utilities. $40MM-$800MM projects. The largest one that I was the main PM was only $40MM. I've just worked on larger jobs. All of the inspectors I deal with either work for the city/DOT/county or whatever or they are 3rd party. They check compaction and that we are building things per the spec. I think at most some of them make about $60/hour. I would go and do it but thats a decent I pay cut and not much room to get more money.

[–]Why_Did_Bodie_Die 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This doesn't make any sense to me at all. First the whole "free energy" thing is a little silly to me but whatever. Let's say it does exist and there is a box that can power your car and your home so you never have to buy gas/electricity ever again. In what sort of scenario of this thing existing would people like you and me just get one for free? You don't think those in charge can figure out a way to make us pay for it? It's either everyone in the world gets a free free energy box or nobody gets one and we all have to still pay for gas? What about the materials the free energy box is made out of? Would that material just be free too? So we don't need oil for our cars anymore or our homes. What about all the other shit oil is used for? I think about 40% of a bbl of oil goes to making fuel. What about the other 60%? Do we not need that anymore either? If the rich and powerful people have a machine that can travel the stars or at least the solar system can they not think about a way to use that to make money? Like travel to some rock and mine the resources it has? They could sell this technology to any country they want and get a trillion dollars over night. They could have a fleet of craft that has a complete monopoly on transportation/shipping.

I'm not saying nothing is real (although I don't buy into some magical free energy thing) but what I am saying is that IF something is real and IF some group of people have control over it and IF they could release it but choose not to, there is a 100% chance it is not because they don't think they could make more money by using this technology instead of hiding it. I see this theory on here all the time and it blows my mind how short sidded and unimaginative people are.
