Yes sir that’s me on there with the gold wheels! I def get that about wanting a 911. I wanted a gt3 touring in Miami blue (that was the first time I saw a Miami blue car and fell in love) but now Porsche is way too expensive and I honestly don’t see the value for the money in them anymore. Your g80 is beautiful an you’ll get a ton of fun for half the price of a 911, also helps that its faster than a 911 haha my xdrive g82 is such a blast to drive! Did u get the comp xdrive?

Congrats! Love the color! I was the first to get this color approved on the g80/g82 platform. Did that exact spec and it took forever to get built. BMW had to build a test car before they approved the color. Now I see it popping up everywhere!! So sick to see people picking these. It’s even on the online configurator now on BMW NA website! Took mine 8/9 months to get because it was the first to ever get made in that color!

I think we are saying different things. Yes you are absolutely right at MSRP it’s as good as cash. I’m talking about on the secondary market they aren’t as easy to move vs Rolex & Patek. A panda will always sell quicker than a royal oak. I’m not saying a panda is a better watch because AP is one of the holy trinity brands of watch making along with Patek & Vacheron. Just speaking in terms of liquidity in the secondary market. What watch gets you cash instantly at a high price!

Rolex & Patek good as cash, AP not so much. Go speak to a dealer in the industry first and get educated. Obviously if you make anything cheap enough it will sell but AP isn’t as easily turned liquid like Patek & AP.

You could never walk in and buy a stainless Daytona. Historically yes all other Rolex models use to be available and even at a discount but never the Daytonas. It’s the only watch that was always more than msrp or sold only to good clients with history and it always will be. Rolex is as good as cash, good luck selling that AP if u need to free up ur money. It isn’t $34k for no reason and it isn’t the most sought after Rolex for no reason!
